I don't see a reason I should expect McElroy to be any good in the front office or coaching.

Seriously? I know you are one of the biggest homers on this site, but damn...even a lot of Auburn fans would admit that McElroy would probably make a good executive or coach.

Why would anyone think that a kid that graduated with honors from C&BA at Bama...who got an interview for a Rhodes scholarship...who lead a team to a BCSNG..would ever do well in the front office of an NFL team?

Who knows? He is woefully unqualified for any position higher than janitor.

Neither will be a starting NFL QB for a whole season.

I highly highly doubt it. Newton is a fine athlete, not a great QB, in the sense of the NFL.

He may be drunk. He is posting the worst possible thread topics he can think of, without saying anything in his OPs.

I could see him going to the Bills and have a similar season as Tebow did. Not starting right away but having some shots towards the end of the year.

I honestly would take Mallett over both of them.

Remember after you typed this that you watched Mallett disrupt and destroy an NFL team.

Not at all. Mallett can make every throw needed. McElroy is a Pennington clone. Cam is a Young clone. I don't think he'll be 1/2 as effective in the NFL as he was in college. He was definitely the best player in the nation this year, don't get me wrong. In the NFL though, I'd take the strong armed Mallett all day.
