for whatever reason, that's how the coaches team is always done (at least for the last few years)

In the coaches' defense, that's a hell of a stock of guards between first and second teams.

8 players on first team? Does that make sense?

Makes more sense than Henderson not being one of them.

Who do you replace on first team with him though?

KCP absolutely deserves POY, that was a no brainer. McRae would have been my second pick. With Elston Turner rounding out the top 3.

Stokes may have a legit gripe about not making the first team. I haven't fact checked here, but I believe he's the only SEC player to average a double-double in league play.

good point... i'd take mcrae (IMO should've been POY), releford, and pope over the inconsistent henderson.

Does the AP have a team as well?

O'Bryant over Holloway makes absolutely no sense, Murph has better stats

I don't really remember who else does All-Conference teams. They probably will have one. This one just popped up on twitter.

Pressey

While Pressey wasn't necessarily POY material as predicted in pre-season, he's still been very good for Mizzou (last second shot withstanding). I'd argue that Pressey was the better all-around player, especially from a rebounding, assist, and defensive standpoint.

Just a basic stat comparison.

Sounds like it.

Holloway is shooting 55% - he takes JOB's stats and wipes his arse with them.

Henderson not making the 1st team isn't that big of a hosing.

You should be more upset over Holloway not making it.

Just looking at it again, Henderson not even making first team is the surprise I guess.

No surprise here, the coaches recognize him for what he is - a chucker
