Wrong. If the defense was trying to substitute then the offense would snap the ball before 10 seconds to catch them off guard.

Bielema said that he sits on a Rules Committee and the HUNH was brought up for debate. Bielema made it clear in the Rules Committee that he's very much against the HUNH because he believes it increases injuries. However, he was surprised when a television angle entered the equation.

He said television executives hate the HUNH because they cannot properly plan programming around games that may last 1.5 hours to 3 hours. Bielema said that television executives are going to change the game. They are going to make the college games more like the NFL games to force games to fit into certain programming molds. His belief is that this change will happen very soon.

He said it's all about the mighty dollar and the television execs will win out in the end, which is good for coaches like him and Saban.

YES!!!!!!! The almighty dollar wins again. Flex those muscles(dollars) execs. Saban will reign for a 100 more years

Really it's just Bert at this point who can't get the sand out of his vagina. Saban will watch his very own offense running HUNH this season. Book it.

the offense has to get lined up just like the defense

if Bert really was that concerned for his kid's health he wouldn't wait to see what the offense was lining up to do to make his subs, he would them planned ahead of time.

its really not that hard to just set up a rotation that stipulates the kids are on the field for so long and then automatically rotate off as soon as the play is over to help keep everyone fresh.

Bert is a good for nothing, father-fricking piece of scum. Oh, and he's obese.

Feel free to listen to Russillo and Kanell's recorded show from today (09/02/15).

I'm sure you'll eat crow on tRant after you listen to the show and realize I'm right.

Nevermind. You're a pussy who would do no such thing.

But attacking highschool kids...now that's another story! Amirite?!!!

Bama will run the HUAW this year. They will hurry to the line and wait for the play, or get a quick snap.
This is coming against Whisky.

Saban will change if it gives him a better chance to win.

Can I hear some legit responses why some of you are saying he's an idiot for what he said? So far, he's not the idiot re: the theory, you guys are for not seeing the big picture.

First you have to give some legit reasons why TV execs would be against HUNH.

It does not shorten the game to an hour and a half like Bert claims it does.

Haven't seen that in years.

Seriously. A lot of these HUNH plays result in incompletions. More incompletions=stopped clock. HUNH doesn't decrease the length of games, it just makes better use of the time available.
