Rivalry application denied

What the frick does having a winning record at UGA and a pathetic record at LSU have to with having a rivalry with LSU?

Rivals are supposed to be somewhat even. Sorry AU, not even close.

Sorry we're not going to single out our game wth y'all as the singular focal point on which we judge our schedule

But we are talking having three of the four teams we lost to in the regular season last year at home instead of on the road.

No we aren't, we're talking about the relative strengths of schedules for '14 and '15. Getting UGA at home or on the road doesn't seem to be much of a factor in that series, getting LSU on the road does.

So UGA cancels itself out of AU's schedule, while LSU may not be a team AU lost to, sure makes the SEC West title a little more difficult than last year.

You would think AU fans would rather have LSU at home and UGA on the road than the reverse.

Based on those stats, you'd think so. Yet I'd still rather have UGA at home than LSU. Probably emotion, with UGA being a rival, skewing reason, but yea, would rather have UGA at home than LSU.

It's really this simple.

And when you also get OleMiss at home in '15, a game that came down to the wire and without a severe injury could have been another loss last year...it makes for a more favorable schedule than what AU had last season.

Consider this:

2014:
AU @ UGA: 58.1%
AU vs LSU: 61.1%

2015:
AU vs UGA: 42.9%
AU @ LSU: 21.4%

It looks to me like the years when AU plays UGA on the road and LSU at home that they have a better overall chance of winning those two games (59.6% avg vs 32.2%).

But I'll have to agree with you on one point: You are "sorry".

Believe me, on the whole AU would much rather have UGA/UA and both MS schools at home than away, and take their chances @ LSU/Arky than have the reverse.

If it would ever stop raining in your stadium then the winning percentage would be much more even.

Now that's funny. I use actual numbers and get smart assed 'rivalry' response, he posts some silly shite about Mississippi schools and feelings, and he's accused of using logic.

Logically, if my team played better against another team at their house than they do at ours, I would want my team playing them away.

And keep your fricking hands off my jimmies, they've been sensitive ever since that 41-7 anal probe. I think I got an infection from that.

Cool picture from a decade ago.

Now tell me what Tommy Tuberville, Al Borges, David Gibbs, John Vaughn, Kenny Irons, Brandon Cox, Ben Obonamu, Will Herring, Jonathan Wilhite, etc, have to do with the 2015 Auburn Tigers?

Or do you think there is some mythical curse put on the jersey's of teams that no logical scientific study can explain?

For what? Steven Clark dropping a snap? He graduated in case you didn't know and is currently on the Raiders roster.

I guess if you don't feel you can line up and beat the other team, then these are the things you fall back on?
