LSU gashed the frick out of that shite...running and throwing.

148 yards passing at less than 50% completion, no touchdowns and 1 interception is NOT "gashing"

If only there was some other way to accumulate yardage in a football game . . . I used to know the answer to this one. I'm sure it will come to me.

He said running AND throwing. They gashed South Carolina all over the place on the ground, but were inept through the air.

Throwing the ball 25 times doesn't qualify as "not throwing the ball much".

The stats that mattered most in that game:
Total Yards
USCe 211 = 21 points
LSU 406 = 23 points

From the ESPN recap:

quote:

LSU (6-1, 2-1 Southeastern Conference) substantially outgained South Carolina (6-1, 4-1), 406 yards to 211, but struggled to find the end zone. Three times, LSU settled for field goals after driving at least as far as the Gamecocks' 5-yard line, and another drive to the South Carolina 15 stalled on a missed field goal.

Your stats aren't even correct.

QBR, not passing rating. I know reading comprehension is tough, but I have faith you can follow if you pay a little more attention.

Going further, he's 20th in completion percentage, 15th in total yards, 17th in yards per attempt, tied for 29th in TD passes, tied for 10th most interceptions thrown, and is 17th in yards per game. In other words, he's BELOW AVERAGE.

RUSSELL WILSON is 17th.

Congratulations, you have managed to completely tear apart a successful A&M alum with a bright future ahead and a guy that brought you your second 9 win season since the turn of the century. A feat that is pathetic enough in it's own right.

The throwing gashes came on screen plays designed against USCe stacking the box.
