So what you're saying is our pass defense was stellar that year and JJ is an all-pro QB? Again, I'm just shocked that he's so well regarded around here.

Uh, in comparison to using the games in the 90's like some of you faggies like to do it is considerably better and more relevant

Do you understand what hyperbole is or is that above Louisiana's education system?

So where are the 8 TD games by good QBs? Not a single QB had a better game than JJs 4 TDs unless I missed it.

Don't know about JFF as CB but maybe at Safety. He had the best defensive play of the year in CFB last week on a play that didn't end up counting.

Speaking of "relevant"

LSU has been outscored 24-18 in their only two road games. 18 total points despite forcing 6 turnovers.

A&M has outscored their opponents 145-44 at home this season. 21 of those points were nonoffensive touchdowns (Punt Return, INT return, Fumble Return)

No what I'm saying is that elite QBs did not throw for 8 td's like you said nor did they get 4 td's as JJ did.

So JJ was better than an elite level QB, I get it now.

Jefferson only had 3 touchdown passes. 4 total TDs.

In terms of a total performance:

Jefferson had 225 total yards and 4 TDs (3 passing)

Griffin had 309 total yards and 1 TD (rushing)

Jones had 280 total yards and 1 TD

Tech's QBs had 350 total yards and 3 TDs

Gabbert had 339 total yards and 3 TDs

Mallett had 296 total yards and 3 TDs

Weeden had 262 total yards and 2 TDs

Also, consider the venue.

A&M is 0-4 in Jerryworld and have been outscored there by a combined 154-98.

January 2011 is TWO (2) seasons ago. I'm not sure how you don't understand this. For instance, last year's Cotton Bowl was in January 2012 and this year's Cotton Bowl will be in January 2013.

Who gives a shite about 95 & 2011. All the stats in the world won't get you ready for the physical defense a&m are about to face. If I'm not mistaken clowney and Latimore are out after playing LSU last week. So be happy a&m is getting by injury free, don't be surprised if this week changes that.
I really hope LSU comes out swinging and dominates this game.

Yes, I understand that. The game was two seasons ago and it was played last year.

Between coaching changes, system changes, and personnel changes our current team has about as much in common with the 2010 team as the 2010 team does with the teams from the 90s

I don't know that I buy that LSU is more physical of a defense than UF or a better defense for that matter. Both are excellent. The more important point being that A&M has a good idea of what is in store.
