After losing 3 national title games, 2 of them to SEC schools, you'd think Stoops would realize why his team and his conference suffer from a lack of respect.

They let USC hang 55 on them.

Oddly enough, the one BCS title game Oklahoma won was the game they scored the least number of points.

Yes he is.

Or the one where it says the Wildcats lost in overtime to I-AA Western Kentucky.

They became 1-A in 2008, and were full members and eligible to play in bowls in 2009.

I think hes just mad his little brother gets to coach an SEC team. If I was Mark Stoops I'd give him some shite about the cheap shots on my new team. Kiss my arse Bob!

Let alone them and Willie Taggart had a pretty great team and Kentucky was at an all time low.

Yea, the writer is a complete idiot. I notice not one mention of Kansas and their powerhouse football program.

41-13 didn't sort this out?

Doesn't fit in to their narrative. Big 12 Champions getting steam rolled by the Aggies is something they don't want to acknowledge happening. Truth is... in Bob Stoops last 4 games, count em, 4 games against the SEC, he hasn't scored more than 14 point. Granted, he did win one of those games, but it was against Arkansas, and is Arkansas even really SEC worthy?

Bingo.

And in the SipSpin10, narrative is EVERYTHING.

you'd think he would choose another team to use as an example. Ole Miss has fared well against Big 12 bowl opponents.

It's sad when the big12awhileago has to fight their perception of inferiority in their regional publications.

It truly amazes me how when people ask the B12, B10, or Pac12 how they can overcome the SEC dominance, and they always bring up, "well how are the bottom teams doing?"....

It's embarrassing. No one ever thinks of the bottom teams in the conference when they ask about the national title-winning teams of the SEC. It's always whoever the #1 team in the SEC is every year, regardless of who it is. THAT'S the team(s) that the other conferences are struggling to match, and they respond by asking about the SEC's bottom 6 as if it's some proper response???

Now do you guys see why A&M and Mizzou fans like to rail on the Big 12 so much?

No conference has more of a reactive approach to PR than these clowns.

I love that little excuse.

Even better are the "well, it's really only Alabama winning" people.

UGA probably would have beaten notre dame WORSE had they beaten the Tide in ATL. And they damn near did.
