Although to be fair, he was picked WAY too soon for most Mizzou fans. Guy was a work in progress in college so most who saw him on a weekly basis thought he would have a hard time adjusting to the pros. But he was a Top 10 pick, so bust.

Trent is well on his way.

Georgia basketball - Alec Kessler. Great guy, smart as a whip, not a good NBA lottery pick.

Blaine Gabbert since we've been relevent

Uhhhh...wut?.....Todd was pretty frickin far from a bust....
Todd played for 10 years in the league finished his career with 1,610 completions in 2,967 attempts for 20,610 yards and 124 touchdowns, with 161 interceptions. He also rushed for 932 yards and 14 touchdowns

Ole Miss doesn't get players drafted
FIFY...since Ole Miss has only had 19 first round draft picks over a 70 year period.

I wish 10 or 12 more lsu fans would say Jamarcus because its so different when each person posts it over and over

Darren Lewis. It's hard to call him a "draft" bust because he started his slide immediately after his last season and went in the 6th round.
Top two rushing seasons in A&M history.
Career yardage record at A&M.
5th all-time for the NCAA in career rushing behind Tony Dorsett, Charles White, Herschel Walker and Archie Griffin.
All-American in '90.
And then... the wheels fell off. Tested positive for cocaine at the NFL Combine (only player to test positive for anything). His career went straight into the toilet from there. The last I heard he was in a Dallas County jail awaiting trial for an armed robbery of a 7-Eleven where he shot a clerk. Not his first robbery. As far as I know the trial hasn't happened yet. He makes Vince Young look like a member of Mensa.
ETA: Shot the clerk at age 44, by the way. What the...

Huh?
Todd's already been covered.
Curry wasn't a star by any means, but he played for seven years. Lasting seven NFL seasons is far from the definition of a bust.
Right now, I'd go with Ro.
Mark Ingram and Trent will make a run at the title if they don't pick it up next year.
Honorable mention might go to Joey Jones.

Either Matt Jones or Jamaal Anderson.
I'd probably lean toward Anderson since he was a top 10 pick -- Jones getting the boot was more for the booger sugar than lack of production.

I'd say Gabbert is the biggest bust of ya'lls history regardless of era or relevancy.
Dude was a top 10 pick just 3 years ago might not be in the league next year.

Agree with Rolando McClain. Ro was a top ten pick who's out of the league now. At least Richardson and Ingram are still playing.

Aundray Bruce
Bruce was drafted with the first overall pick in the 1988 NFL Draft by the Atlanta Falcons.[2] Although he was the first overall pick, Bruce started only 42 games in his 11-year career. Bruce enjoyed his most prominent role on the Falcons 1991 playoff team when he saw spot duty on offense as a tight end as well as defense. He signed with the Los Angeles Raiders as a free agent in 1992 and finished his career with the organization. Bruce played in 151 games over his 11-season career, posting 32 sacks and 4 interceptions.
I disagree.
As much as I loved him in orange-and-blue, Brent Fullwood was a bigger "bust" in the NFL than Aundray Bruce was. Once Bruce got out from under the godawful umbrella of the Atlanta Falcons, he became a serviceable defensive end.
Please note, I said DEFENSIVE END. The Raiders had him play naturally with his hand on the ground.
The genius of the Falcons? They had him playing middle linebacker and later at tight end as well.
Bruce's "bust" came from being drafted by an utterly inept organization that had NO idea how to use him. Thus there philosophy was to continue to pound the square peg into the round hole.
(P.S. This post was in no way meant to imply that Bruce was or could have been a *great* NFL player. Just a defense of the "biggest bust" label.)
