I wish SEC Ready was available to the public for free. Except the beginning where Rusty Burson says "it turned out to be the best loss in A&M history". frick that. 27-25 was a bullshite ending gift wrapped to them by a ref who called that stupid helmet to helmet, who posted on TexAgs admitting his sipness whining about the hit on Colt McCoy saying it was used in the Big 12 ref meetings. I want to win that game 100 times out of 100, I don't care if that meant Manziel never happened I'd take my chances. frick losing that game.

The only place they can pull from is the AAC...

From what I've read, BYU is openly interested in joining the Big 12...and I also read that Boise State might be a candidate if they decided to expand...

What about Colorado State?

USNWR Top 100 School
Decent enough in football
Tournament team in men's basketball
Gives them the Denver footprint (Lord knows CU doesn't give the PAC much of anything)

As somebody who has family that went to CSU and CU I can tell you without question that CU has a much larger fanbase than CSU.

I like the Rams but CU brings way more to the table

Not a chance Big XII passes up BYU for Memphis.

2011 - Dodds tells Alden, the Missouri AD that he and his school need to, "remember their place". Alden realizes that, maybe the SEC isn't such a bad idea and A&M holds the door open for them. After Missouri goes through, the door is slammed in the face of the Big 12. West Virginia joins as the Big East falls apart around them. Syracuse and Pittsburgh join the ACC effective 2013.

The way UT thought they should be treated above the rest of the conference - a 100-year old conference that they had only been a part of for just over a decade, mind you, was a huge issue for the four schools that ended up leaving the conference.

That plus the unequal revenue sharing, the selfishness of Texas and their TV rights, and the way Mizzou continually got skipped over during bowl season was enough for us to leave and never look back when the SEC came calling.

I'm 99.99999999% sure no school in Idaho is going to be a part of the Big 12. That 0.00000001% is the remote possibility that it's in football only, but still. It won't happen.

Only people who think of college football as a glorified fantasy football game and not the economics of it think Boise has a chance.

BYU was explored and both parties walked away because BYU will not compete in sports on Sundays. That is a big deal for the big 12, which plays lots of basketball and baseball on Sundays.

As I said yesterday, I have zero sympathy for any school in the big 12. With the possible exception of Iowa State, which has never had any other options. Texas killed that conference with their self-focused greed. From their unequal revenue sharing model, to being behind the curve on expansion, to the massive failure than is the LHN (which cost the conference it's own network)... They are completely dysfunctional with failed operational models as a conference. Texas got the conference they wanted. Let them wallow in it.

Just wanted to stop by and at Texas, Baylor, and the rest of the Big 12. (Except for TCU and K-State, y'all are cool)

Totally agree SEMO.

If I was the big12 I would try for Colorado State and Cincinnati.

Depends on if BYU even wants to come. Didn't they tell the big12 to pound sand awhile back?

Oh no doubt that is a big deal but the Big XII would make that accommodation if the choice was BYU or Memphis

I feel like its now or never for UCF. If they want to ever play with the big boys then they need to springboard off their recent success into the Big 12 right now.

well they are in a tough spot, the new paradigm says you don't pickup teams from states you already have and Fl has 3 power 5 teams already, the ONLY REASON Texas has so many P5 teams it due to the PURE DESPERATION of the bev10 conference... which is one reason it is already a watered down conference.

UCF realistically has no shot at being a relevant conference player. But I agree w/ you Joker, they are a good program for what they are..

Yeah. The same people that think that final standings in the polls mean shite to conference alignment. Large fan bases, population centers, large alumni bases, and money matter more than wins.

I don't care if they are number 5 in the current polls... no one will take them when tu/Tech/OU/OSU run off to the Pac-16.

hey may be seeking admission into the ACC

I think even Ken Starr himself will have a hell of a time getting out of that Grant of Rights, unless they can convince the other schools that Texas has fricked them all royally and have them all abandon the conference.

1 school has destroyed 2 conferences in my lifetime. That's gotta be some sort of record.

Every school already has to go to Morgantown every other year.

At least Cincinnati is a major metro.

exactly right SEMO,,, every bit true..

right now Bev10 is looking for schools that don't exist, they will wind up adding Houston and Rice and calling it a day before long, they can rename to the Tex12 or Bevo and the 11 dwarf's which is what they are.
