I would not like it to be Memphis. Why not go after BYU?

I assume he means that Baylor could go independent. Notre Dame, BYU...

The Big 12 is exactly where they are because of Texas and others, including Oklahoma, bowing to them. Said it before the Aggies ever made the move... the best thing that Texas A&M could have ever done was to leave that conference and Texas behind. They're out of their shadow, playing in a better conference, with more money and can showcase more than they ever would have still being there.

Not a chance.

What are the rumors about Baylor?
They may be seeking admission into the ACC because they feel the Big 12 didn't abide by the bylaws when determining the conference champion, and they feel that TCU was unfairly supported when they beat TCU head-to-head.
I understand their frustration.

Yup. Absolute best move we could have made.

I assume that Ole Miss could maintain their recruiting edge there, but it certainly wouldn't be a positive for y'all.

If I was the Big 12, I'd weigh a couple of concepts.
Is the recruiting falling off, and do they need to strike in to the southeast? If you realize the entire Big 12 had one 5 star last recruiting cycle, and that one beat the shite out of his girlfriend in a Norman pizza parlor, you're staring at some hard realities. If I realized my main priority was getting in to the southeast, I would offer USF, UCF, Southern Miss and Tulane. I'd set up profit sharing to help with facilities upgrades and travel.
Is conference stability important? If so, I'd add Houston, Rice, SMU and BYU, and hope that Oklahoma and tu win the new north and south divisions respectively every single year.
Through all of it, the looming idea of tu/Texas Tech/Oklahoma/OSU all taking their ball and heading to the Pac-16 still seems like the end result. The truth of the matter is they have too many weak parts to ever be successful, and all additional options are so bad, it only dilutes the brand.

The only place they can pull from is the AAC so that basically means Cincy, UCF, UH (never gunna happen), Memphis, ECU, or... Tulane. Pick 2 of those teams and try not to throw up in your mouth.
Memphis and UCF.

Can some Aggie post a brief synopsis of why this is the sips fault? I feel like it is, but I need a break down. TIA.

What about Colorado State?
USNWR Top 100 School
Decent enough in football
Tournament team in men's basketball
Gives them the Denver footprint (Lord knows CU doesn't give the PAC much of anything)

They refuse to play on Sundays (for their other sports), and there other ways where LDS leadership like to be able to dictate the sports programs at BYU.

I'm with ya so far...

They are whiny bitches so that eliminates the ACC
what? I can see why the ACC would not want them but that's not why.

Their stadium has less than 50,000 seats.so that eliminates the SEC
Of course we don't want any of that retard sh*t that is the leftover bev12-4+2
The conference is a dead man walking, hell 'Mizzou winning the SEC' has more life than that miserable pile...

You'll see them go for north central US and either out west(Denver) or Florida.

He gets it.
They ran off Neb, Colorado, A&M, & Mizzou.
To fix it they added TCU (market they already have) and WVU (makes no geographical sense).
They're going to keep fricking up.
