What does anything I said have to do with obsession with LSU? I guess you are obsessed with Mississippi State for posting in this thread.

a thread you're currently arguing in is quite redundant, don't you think?
again my attempt was to get you to shut the frick up about HIS rankings and HIS system of numbers. frick what is so hard to understand about that? Run your own numbers and post them in this thread if it's so important to you
40 years of info is some work IMO and to just bitch about his system is quite fricking ignorant IMO.

It's almost like, discussion boards are used to create threads, and then discuss them........
I mean, it's nuts.

You are correct. He's already done most of the work.
I look forward to RB10's Big 3 Sports rankings of the last 40 years soon....might even read it twice

Other dude dropped his suggestion and then dipped. The difference here is you're arguing page after page about one persons list. It's kind of silly.

After considering all your bitching, I have come up with the perfect compromise that should complete my power rating system.
Outright Championship in baseball/basketball = 1 pt
Championship share in baseball/basketball = 0.5 pt
Conference tourney champs in baseball/basketball = 0.5 pt
Conference champions in Football = 1.33 pt
Each post by RB10 = -1.5 pt
****NEW RANKINGS****
1. Florida (31.16)
2. LSU (27.83)
3. Bama (24.50)
4. Kentucky (24.00)
5. Auburn (12.00)
6. Georgia (11.50)
7. Tennessee (11.00)
8. MSU (10.50)
9. South Carolina (6.16)
10. Vanderbilt (6.00)
11. Arkansas (5.39)
12. Ole Miss (3.50)
13. RB10 (-27.00).... and counting... backwards
There is a silver lining RB10, if you take the absolute value of your rating, you would be ranked 3rd in the SEC!!!

I find the topic intriguing, but I didn't agree with the methodology for the ranking. That would be the reason I stuck around and discussed it.
I figured someone who had 55k posts would understand how message boards work.....

I'm sorry you didn't like someone pointing out your extremely flawed ranking. I'll try and be nice next time.

Arkansas won the SEC Basketball tourney in 2000. You have them down for 0 tourney championships in your OP.

Nope you have to redo it. Bama isn't ahead of LSU yet

My bad, edited all the rankings accordingly. I knew I'd miss something.

Missouri basketball since 1975: 8 conference titles, 8 conference tournament titles = 12 points.
Missouri baseball since 1975: 7 conference titles, 1 conference tournament title = 7.5 points
4th in your ranking system right?

You want to make it sound even worse?
No basketball SEC championships in past 40 years
No football SEC championships in past 40 years
1 SEC championship share in baseball (2009) and one outright SEC championship in baseball (1977), which happens to be exactly 40 years ago and the year that my sample size began with.
So.... Ole Miss has ZERO outright championships in any of the Big 3 sports in the past 39 years. Yet they somehow believe they are an SEC power......

if you are going to use 40 years you should count Arkansas SWC conference championships in football dumbass. hell the swc was clearly better than the sec most of the time. Texass owned bama back then when the SEC was bama and the other schools

Excuse me? Use Arkansas conference championships when you weren't in the SEC for a SEC power rating?
In case you missed it, I gave south Carolina and Arkansas a 1.54X multiplier for the time missed. Entered SEC in '91, so were present for 26 of 40 years sampled. 40/26 = 1.54
Football- 0 conference titles = 0 pts
Baseball- 1 outright (1999) + 1 shared (2004) + 0 conference tourney = 1.5 pts
Basketball- 2 outright ('92 & '94) + 1 conference ('00) = 2.5 pts
Total- 1.54(0 + 1.5 + 2.5) = 6.16 POINTS
