Nick Lou Saban was born in Fairmont, West Virginia to Nick Lou Saban, Sr. and his wife, Mary.

Not Ohio.

Nice quote from that article.

“I can tell you this,” says Wisconsin coach Bret Bielema. “We at the Big Ten don’t want to be like the SEC—in any way, shape or form.”

My main question is how is he gonna recruit here? He better have a clear pathway to get the northern big uglies to come here and block because LSU/Bama take all the good ones down south. Don't get the hire and it will take him a few years to get his system in place. He'll be gone in 3.

You nailed it.

I like this part:

"We talked about it, and he said it would stop and it did."

Doesn't sound like Urban was just 'talking' to Bielema's commits, but it does sound like Bielema is a guy that gets what he wants.

This part is good too:

Better than hiring Gruden IMO. Bielema is a POS but he has won a lot of games and scored a lot of points.

unlike Arkansas with Sumlin, I'll take the high road and congratulate Arkansas on their new head coach. Good coach and good luck to him on the burning dumpster fire he has to rebuild.

See their Oregon State game film fiasco from this season. They got clobbered. It was hilarious.

Dude is maybe the second biggest douche coach in all of CFB (Lane Kiffin safely holds that throne).

Congrats?

Here are the Wisconsin averages over BBs 7 years there.

'06.....228.3 passing.......161.7 rushing
'07.....225.3 passing.......200.8 rushing
'08.....201.9 passing.......211.2 rushing
'09.....224.9 passing.......203.8 rushing
'10.....206.8 passing.......245.7 rushing
'11.....246.7 passing.......235.6 rushing
'12.....162.6 passing.......237.8 rushing

He has 68 wins in his 7 seasons there and did it at a place that never recruits well.

I can handle our coach being an a-hole as long as he isn't diddling volleyball players and putting them on staff.

In the Big 10, which is about the 4th best conference.
