This came totally outta left field. I guess it's a good hire. Maybe Arky will concentrate on defense for once.

Bielema is a solid coach and will bring the LSU/Bama ground and pound to Arky.

However, Arky will suck for several years. Personnel not on that team to run his style.

anxious to see what the SEC brethern think about this?

On one hand I dont think he can run the ball as easy as he did up there, but on the other hand he maybe able to recruit better skill positions than Wisconsin can get (being in the south might be better for recruiting)

I tend to agree. We have good skill positions, but the Oline is no where near a Wisky Oline right now

My main question is how is he gonna recruit here? He better have a clear pathway to get the northern big uglies to come here and block because LSU/Bama take all the good ones down south. Don't get the hire and it will take him a few years to get his system in place. He'll be gone in 3.

How's he going to handle SEC recruiting? Wasn't he the one complaining about Urban recruiting committed players? And I'm curious to see how he's going to do at Arky. When his oline coach left they went down hill fast this year.

good hire, IMO. I really like the style of play of Wisconsin. Not sure about the personality of the guy, but he is a damn good coach.

I think the Arky/LSU games will be great fun to watch. I love smashmouth football and it seems to me that those two offenses will line up and try to hit the other team in the mouth about 30 times a game. I'm genuinely excited.
