I don't know why this is so hard for AU fans to comprehend. Obviously you are rustled that such a comparison should/could exist.

Perhaps because 90% of threads started by Arky posters are troll threads.

Also, not rustled in the least.

Actually a welcome diversion from the shitfest of Saban/Texas threads.

Always a pleasure to see Arky posters doing what they do and then deny that they are doing it.

Sail on.

They had a bad game? Guz only put up 17 points against MSU 59:43 into the game

Malzahn took a very good JUCO QB with accuracy issues and helped turn him into one of the greatest QBs the conference has ever seen... was he solely responsible?... of course not... but his scheme brilliant.

To think Malzahn didn't have a hand in his development as a player is wrong.

Freeze 2012: 3 Year Total: 44 (14.7 per year)

Damn thats pretty strong evidence as to who's the better OC. Why the hell would Freeze tell his quarterbacks to throw those interceptions?

I wonder why throwing INTs are even in the gameplan. That seems counterproductive as far as offensive systems go. Surely he had a good reason for it though. If not, he's a terrible OC and I agree Gus is much damn better

OP preed his pants three weeks too early. I'm pretty confident Hugh will put up more points on Gus than Gus puts on Hugh.

Hey Vanderbilt had a top 10 pass defense last year but let's ignore facts.

joey nailed... Connor Shaw isn't exactly known for his passing abilities, and he lit them up.

How are Auburn fans feeling about the upcoming game with OM?

Cam showed up NFL polished and AU was predicted to ride the 'ship all the way because of that. Just look at the spring game when he dominated.

Cam dismissed Gus' advice on mechanics obviously. Gus doesn't know shite except bubble screens and gimmick schemes. When Gus called plays, Cam signaled him down and just ran whatever he wanted out there. Gus rode that to his HC job. Amirite?

Yup...moreso than Gus "developing" the #1 pick in his lone season of coaching him.

So you're going to take your own advice and ignore facts then?

You want other facts? Vanderbilt is 11th in the SEC in pass efficiency defense. They're 10th in INTs. And they are dead last in opponent completion percentage.

About like I felt with the other mississippi school. A win like usual. Should be close though.

Interesting.

I expect OM to put up 40. I haven't seem Auburn play much, so I didn't know if they could keep up.

agreed... it's actually not a bad debate between to dudes who run similar offenses and have similar backgrounds... no need to have it highjacked.

It's gon' be a barn burner!

I don't mean that to insinuate we're gonna burn y'all or anything. I just used that phrase. It's appropriate.

I think it will be a good one, though.
