Coates reminds me of Panther/fmr FSU WR Kelvin Benjamin. Benjamin is built in the mold of Calvin Johnson but has hands made of stone. He can make awesome leaping catches but can't catch a ball thrown 10 yards out between the number.

They both show flashes of greatness but aren't what I would call reliable

I think what Cooper does with the ball after the catch is what makes him so dangerous.

The moves he puts on people at times should almost be illegal.

Easier to get Duke the ball. Both should be 1st round and top 15 the way this league passes the ball.

Agree, except I think Coates if physically better (seems to run better for sure).

I have to disagree with this. As others have already said, Cooper runs some of the sharpest routes ever seen. Also, he can go up and get the ball (See 2012 SECCG, 2012 Ole Miss, and this year against MSU), and he can flat out out-run almost any DB he is put up against.

You do not make those moves in the Pro Game. WRs in the Pro's make their money with their hands. You rarely see them make catches with their bodies.

I'm drawing a blank. Is this the new "from out of nowhere" rookie. I can't even think of what team he is on right now. He is from some small school. Any help?

Cooper always reminded me of a more talented Victor Cruz.

Thanks for the link, but the guy I'm thinking about is a rookie. Maybe I'll remember who he is later. Thanks for the help.

They bring different styles to the table. Hard to argue for one being better than the other overall. Cooper will go higher based on his production, route running and speed.

Depends on the offense I guess. Amari is more a true WR, while I see Duke more as a WR/TE hybrid kind of like Jimmy Graham.

I think they'll both be solid NFL prospects.

No it's not. It's the most common thing we do as sports fans. Which guy is better? Pick one and try to have some valid reasons to back up your choice.

Evidently not. There's not many people in this world that could take that type of movement on a knee and still play a few weeks later. Weak troll.

Injury

If I were drafting Amari Cooper, he is a top 5 type pick
