Well, he's close, but still one letter short. The right term for him is weiner.

Aggies love them raw, but corndogs prefer to deep fry theirs, as they're getting ready to do to Les right now.

Obviously. Sabans 03 and 04 LSU classes were loaded. From 03 until 07 LSU was the most talented team in the SECW by far and only USC had a comparable roster nationally.

It's also well known the binders of notes Saban left Miles about individual players strength weaknesses etc. Miles also retained some of Saban's staff most notably Jimbo Fisher and Tommy Moffitt. If you don't believe the huge roster advantage LSU had from 03 til 07 was not the result of the classes Saban put together I don't know what to tell you.

Funny fact about this. Not nearly as many LSU fan's know about this or they refuse to admit it.

I've never actually seen those in person but I've seen pics from guys that GA'd at LSU. Those were the first glimpse into how deep Saban breaks-down his players.

What would it take to get Bret Bielema? Would u take him

Before u bash me I understand he almost went winless in the SEC for two years, but he inherited a dumpster fire and had players that wasn't recruited for his system. They still were competitive and Arkansas doesn't have top recruiting classes. He is slowly building them. so really if they have a bad game they should lose to a lot less inferior opponent that what we do. shite the great Nick Saban lost to UAB and ULM. With the talent he could get it at LSU, his system would work here really well. Its Miles's system with some creativity! Coach O on staff getting all that Louisiana
talent and building his defensive front seven. I really think that will be a scary LSU team

Since he got to Arky:
Total record- 16-19
SEC record- 6-16
SEC West record- 5-12
Is that the record of a "winner"?

But but but...we beat LSU two years in a row. Poor fools.

If you put Les in the same situation CBB had to deal with Les' record would be worse than the above and h would be fired before year 4.

Les has feasted on La talent but he is a subpar coach, a subpar developer of talent, and a game mismanager....plus he is a dumbass.

Id say from a coaching standpoint id take Bret all day over Les.

Just think if Les didn't constantly pull top 5 classes. He'd be bagging groceries. Hell he cant win WITH them.

Miles went 8-5 and 9-4 in his second and third seasons at Oklahoma St. after taking over for a 3-8 team.

How would you explain the early success of Les Miles vs the lack of success he currently is experiencing?

1st 3 years = 3 top 5 finishes, 2 division titles, 2 BCS bowl wins, 1 National championship.

Next 8 years= 1 top 5 finish, 1 division title, 0 BCS/major bowl wins, 0 national championships.

I guess Les Miles just magically had twice the success in his first 3 years than the last 8 years combined. It's all just a big coincidence.

Those monster 03 and 04 classes did not have LSU's talent level at only a level USC could match.

Retaining members of the staff Saban put together had no impact on Les Miles early success. Jimbo,Moffitt, and Stacy Searels. He was spoon fed and handed the keys to championship program.

if bret had the talent that Les had (Les couldn't recruit the way he does at arkansas) bret would actually challenge saban unlike les. I'm not sure there should really be a debate about this. it's obvious who is the better coach.

Its not a debate right now. Any LSU fan that says les miles is a better coach right now is fooling themselves. Career wise Bielema is not a hair on les's arse. Right now les has reached the end and Bielema is in his prime. Shame he will waste away at Arkansas. Just not a good spot to try and win championships. Only think keeps miles a float is his recruiting ability. He's one of the nations best at recruiting.

2-1 is hardly anything to blink an eye at. I remember a time Les Miles was 3-2 over saban. We all know how that story turned out.
