Miles came in after Saban and the number 1 class in the country. Bret came in place of the worst coach in BCS era. You're a moron for ignoring that fact.

Less has accomplished more but right now Bert is a much better coach and its not close.
Apparently he has your sorry arse convinced just like those hillbillies from Fayetteville.
I watched his press conference and you could tell he can't believe beating LSU and winning that God-awful golden boot trophy would make them forget about the three horrific losses to Toledo, Texas Tech and TAMU.
He was making 2.5m a year at Wisconsin and won 3 conference titles and had four 10+ winning seasons. He is 6-16 in the SEC since he went to Arky and they are happily paying him 4.25m. But but but..he out-coached Les....twice even...really.
Maybe you should triple-down on stupidity and call yourself cajunbamabilly.

Since most of Saban's recruits cycled out Miles has been mostly mediocre. It's no coincidence that most of his success came early in his career. LSU has only won the west 1 time in the last 8 years under Miles. 2011 seems like an anomaly. No BCS or major bowl wins since 07.
While he won the west twice in his first 3 years. He also had 3 top 5 finishes in his 1st 3 years, but only 1 in the last 8 seasons. It's obvious he benefited from the talent and infrastructure Saban left behind.

That's funny because the worst coach in the BCS won 2 SEC games in his only season at Arkansas. It took Bert 2 season to accomplish that feat.
It's been 3 years. Is Bert a shitty recruiter or poor developer of talent?

Damn you dumb.
How many Saban players were around in 11?

The FACT remains that Bert is currently a much better coach than Less, no matter what Wisconsin or Arkie paid or pay him. He has a depleted roster and has had a massive rebuilding job.
What do you think Less could do following John L instead of Saban?
Maybe you should go defend Less on the Tiger rant because fellow L5U fans are in a thread saying the same thing I am.
Sorry Less is a has been that made his name riding Saban's coattail.

Not the same situation. BP was a good coach however. And Les is a better recruiter or maybe it's just that big a disparity in talent. Either way, if you give me a team and let me choose between Les and Bret, I'm choosing Bret.

Better Coach-----Bret Bielema or Les Miles??
Bret has zero talent on his roster, Miles has top 5 classes every year.
Bret is a better coach, which makes Miles a lower bottom half coach.

That's why he said 2011 was an anomaly and he is correct.

bert. he has shown he can have an elite defense and now an elite offense and he could have both at the same time one day.

Bert hasn't even been at Arkie 3 years. I agree his best wins are against a has been in Less Miles.

People should stop piling on Miles. No one thought LSU was going to be that great before the year started and now, low and behold, he has lost games to good teams.
I think Bret is doing a really good job. But if he had been at LSU they would have burned his house down for losing to Toledo.
I think Arkansas fans are not as removed from reality as some LSU fans are.

2011 Anomaly. What about 2008, 2009,2010, 2012, 2013, 2014,2015.
All years he failed to win the west, finish in the top 5 or even sniff a major Bowl. To pretend like most of his success did not come early in his career is just not true. 2005,2006,and obviously 2007 are 3 of his most successful season. LSU finished top 5 in those seasons. Only 1 other time in his 8 following season has he done so. He is not nearly having success at the same clip as early in his career.

I'm telling you Bert has already figured out if he beats LSU every year and goes 7-5 or 8-4 he can make 4.25m a year in perpetuity.
