With Mizzou about to open up if Haith takes a slight step up to Tulsa let's say if you had to take one of these jobs which would you choose?

Mizzou pros
15,000 seat arena
St Louis close by
Great fan support
considered a basketball school

Mizzou cons
No final fours
Hangs NIT banners

Tennessee pros
22,000 seat arena

Tennessee cons
Delusional psychotic fans
No history before Pearl
No final fours
Nasty Orange everywhere
Knoxville
fans think they are Kentucky

Doesn't Tennessee draw more fans than Mizzou.

Also, better practice facility. Very close to ATL.

Tennessee fans are easy to win over, just use cheap gimmicks like sweating profusely and painting yourself for women's basketball games.

Mizzou is the better job currently. UT might be better in another cycle.

Gary Parrish says Tennessee (assuming Arky would be the job that is toss up for third best)

quote:

The Tennessee job that opened this week is not the best job in the SEC, and it's not the second best job in the SEC, either. But it might be the third best, and it's probably no worse than the fourth best given that the facilities are terrific and three different coaches have led the Vols to 11 of the past 17 NCAA Tournaments, and five Sweet 16 appearances in the past 15 years. In other words, Tennessee has been able to make the Sweet 16, on average, every three years for the past 15 years regardless of the coach (and despite an NCAA investigation and subsequent probation), and that's why some man somewhere will be lucky to land the job at some point, presumably, in the next week.

Interesting. Those crystal football and basketball trophies look great when they are together in a picture.

Do you like Mizzou's?

Tennessee hired the coach that didnt make it past preliminary rounds of the search for the Mizzou job after Anderson left for Arkansas.

Tennessee was dealing with the threat of NCAA sanctions.

This search should tell us for sure.

Im not really concerned and Im not trying to get into a pissing match.

Tennessee will not stop Mizzou from landing who they want as a coach.
