I'm completely biased and say State but I honestly didn't realize Bama was that close in comparison.

Is "that close" code for clearly better?

I just know the majority of bammers regular season championships came back in the 30's, 40's and 50's. Back when nobody cared about college baseball. Bama baseball hasn't been very good in modern times outside of a 5 or 10 period under Jim Wells

As usual, your're talking out of your arse. Jim Wells won 625 games from 1995-2009, with a .680 winning percentage, with two regular season SEC titles and six tournament titles. He had a CWS runner-up in 1997, and three total CWS appearances among 13 post-seasons.

That all was only preceded by Barry Shollenberger from 1980-1994. He won 487 games during his tenure, including a 1983 runner-up at the CWS. He also won the 1983 regular and tournament title.

How exactly did you prove me wrong, moron? You have 3 regular season championships in the last 35 years. Not exactly something to brag about. Two of those championships came under JIm Wells, who I said was good for 5 or 10 years. His last 4 or 5 years were not good

In what way? Certainly not in wins, win %, regional appearances, supers, Omaha or conference titles. Having a hard time seeing how you can make that claim.

Let's just overlook those SEVEN conference tournament titles, right? That's SEVEN since 1980. And second only to LSU.

It's only been held since 1977.

And for the majority of the late 1940s, and 1952-1985, there wasn't a regular season title. It was a best of five or best of three series among division leaders.

You have still done nothing to dispute my claim Bama baseball hasn't been very good in modern times outside of a 5 or 10 year period under Jim Wells. You only went to the NCAA tournament about 3 times from 1968 until Jim Wells came along in the mid 1990's

I think WarEagleTD would trade all of Auburn's athletic accomplishments for all of Alabama's athletic accomplishments in a heartbeat...

Much better all-time in football, basketball, baseball, gymnastics, golf....

If I wanted to trade with somebody I would pick somebody a lot better than Alabama in most of those sports.

Hey, you little obsessed barner. Go back and read your initial, ignorance laden post. You basically stated all of Alabama's success in baseball occurred in the 30s, 40s, and 50s, prior to Jim Wells. And that only five of his fifteen years could be considered "successful". This couldn't be further from the truth. You also seem to continue to overlook Alabama's SEC tournament success, in lieu of regular season titles. Nevermind that for nearly 30 years after WWII, there wasn't a regular season champion crowned.

Hell Yeah I would trade athletic achievements with alot of schools in a lot of the sports to..

For example,

I would trade with LSU or USC in baseball,
UCLA or Kentucky in basketball,
Georgia in Gymnastics (even though Alabama is a top 5 school all time)
Oklahoma State in golf

However, I wouldn't trade with any school in football.

My point is that Alabama's athletic program as a whole has a whole lot more to brag about than Auburn's

I would think just simply claiming questionable titles puts a feather in our hat as the better program. It works for Bama

We all know all the athletic white boys wanted to attend "the University" in the 30s,40s,50s and 60s. Im sure The University of Johannesburg has the same athletic accomplishments as UAt.
