Adams has always been a freak that flashes big plays but it looks like he has finally become a consistent threat. Not sure what his stats are but he has been crushing OL all year. I think AU'so depth has really helped him. He is playing 40-50 snaps instead of 80 like last year.

Lets take a closer look, shale we.
A&M is holding opponents to 3.85 a carry which is good enough for 45th.
Auburn averages 4.81 a carry, A&M held them to 4.4.
Arkansas averages 4.39 a carry, A&M held them to 3.0.
South Carolina averages 3.01, A&M held them to 4.6 (2.5 if they don't break the one long to start the game)
Tennessee averages 4.34, A&M held them to 5.5. They got us. Props to them.
Overall A&M's run D is solid and our DTs aren't the issue.

as good as any two tackles can be they cannot change the entire run defense.
You're right, that's the Defensive Coordinator's job...
...oh, wait.

Daron Payne's been pretty good this year.

That's fair, and probably a better way to gauge a teams rushing defense.

So you held 2 of these teams to under their ypc average and allowed 2 to run for more ypc than their average.
What about UCLA? They average 2.9 ypc on the season and y'all allowed them to rush for 3.1 ypc.
So, out of the 5 FBS teams A&M has played, they have let 3 rush for more ypc than that team is averaging on the season.

Eh, your run defense is average at best and you've yet to face some of the better rushing attacks.

Adams is blowing plays up left and right. Lives in the backfield. Daron Payne is perfect for our system and I wouldn't trade him for anyone in America but Adams is the truth.

I remember Adams causing problems a good bit in the LSU game. I was very impressed with Auburn's DL this year. Night and day from last year.

We have already faced Auburn (10), UT (50), Arkansas (63), & South Carolina (126)
We have Alabama (20), LSU (20), MSU (47), & Ole Miss (83).
It may get a little harder, but I expect to keep it around where it is which is usually good enough for middle of the pack SEC. Thus far we're 6-0 with it so I'm not overly worried.

PFFs college stuff is bizarre
This, it's almost worthless because they never list out the ratings they get for everyone, just name drop here and there, so you have nothing to really compare it against.
How are supposed to know how the arbitrary ratings they list out for those 4 players stack up when you're not stacking them up against anyone else?
Why do they never just list our every player in that position and their rating?

Trenton Thompson has very comparable stats:
27 tackles, 5 TFL, 2 Sacks
Adams:
17 tackles, 4 TFL, 2.5 sacks

They don't have that available for college premium. I don't think they have the resources or they only do it for publications & teams so it isn't available to the public.
