It may get a little harder, but I expect to keep it around where it is which is usually good enough for middle of the pack SEC. Thus far we're 6-0 with it so I'm not overly worried.

Right, which is the definition of average. That was my point.

Now, to come back full circle, I find it odd that A&M would have an average rush defense with 2 elite run stopping DTs and an elite DE. If that's the case, then your LBers must be really, really bad. Or, maybe PFF isn't very good at evaluating talent.

DTs are not elite. They are okay most plays and good sometimes.

LBs are bad for the most part and that is playing way above expectations which should tell you something

I know A&M was really thin at LBer a few years ago. It makes sense, which is why I think they will struggle against teams that can run the ball out of heavy sets. I think the more LBers A&M is forced to play the worse their run defense is.

Football is all about matchups. UT had a gameplan against our aggressive defense with tons of screens and outlet passes. This really was the first game where we played bad run defense.

If Garrett returns to full health and Chavis alters scheme to defend the stuff Tennessee exploited we should be fine. A&M committed a lot of mental errors on defense last week even though everyone only focuses on UTs mistakes.

I guess. I also saw UT run it right up the middle with plenty of success.

You realize the UT game is 1/6 of the season thus far and will be more like 1/13 or less when it is all said and done. If Curry goes 1-8 from 3 one night does he suck as a shooter?
