Didn't realize UGA football highlights were a non-SEC pro sport.
Although the argument could be made that college athletics is professional sports with NIL....

UGA was in the final four in 1982-1983 and played for the national championship in 1982, losing in the championship game against Penn St....

Just because we have never heard of the coach does not make it a bad hire. Kirby has hired two or three coaches from outside of the SEC footprint, and they have worked out well ...

Ignore the haters...special teams are very important. One of the hidden talents we have had over the last few years is excellent punters and kickers. Our punt return game has been meh.
Hard to imagine a bigger play in our game last year against UT than the 75 yd punt....

2005 would be the year that comes to mind and the major reason was the injury to DJ Shockley in the Arkansas game. We were ranked 4th at that time, lost to UF 14-10 using Joe Tereshinski at QB (Who scored our only TD by catching a pass), lost to Aub 31-30 with Shockley playing with a bad leg and f...

I think the problem with analyzing Chubb is his greatest attribute is his consistency. Everybody remembers the tremendous runs but few remember the 4 yards gained on a 3rd and 3.

Their college stats are almost identical:
McFadden had 4,590 yds (5.8 ypc), 41 rushing Tds in 38 games.
Chubb had 4,769 yds (6.3 ypc), 44 rushing TDs in 47 games.
Both shared carries to some extent, but Chubb played with Gurley, Marshall, Michel.
Both excellent backs....
