Myles has lined up on the interior a handful of times this year therefore he is the best DE and DT in the league.

I'm not taking anyone over Jon Allen.

That said there is an ungodly amount of DL/DE talent in the SEC and a case could be made for about 5-10 guys depending on what you value and what team you pull for.

He definitely made the right call coming back. He'll be a 1st rounder for sure. It seems to have clicked for him this season.

SEC will have an absurd amount of lineman go in the first couple of rounds in next years draft. More talent on the d line than any other conference and it's not even close.

Trent Thompson has been Georgia's best overall player imo. Haven't watch much of Adams.

You take the All SEC DL teams and start an NFL franchise and they'll be in the super bowl in a few years.

Keke and Henderson have been two of the best run stopping tackles in the SEC this season

Aggie rush defense ranks 7th in the SEC and 67th overall giving up 160 yards per game on the ground.

Exactly the reason why I'm hesitant to really take PFFs college ratings seriously.

You understand that PFF focuses on efficiency and not raw numbers?

So how do aTms DTs grade well when both Kamara and Kelly were averaging 7ypc behind a backup center and backup guard? Genuinely curious, there's something I'm not getting with their ratings.

They are fine if you take them for what they are and understand how it is graded.

I don't understand why some take it as gospel when the stats clearly indicate otherwise. I mean, sure, if your LBers are shitty or your DEs are shitty at stopping the run then they could hurt your otherwise elite run stopping DTs, but 7th in the SEC and 67th overall with elite run stopping DTs?

Not to mention, other than Auburn who ranks 10th, they have faced the 50th (UT), 64th (Ark), 122 (UCLA) and 126th (USC) rushing offenses.

I don't know if you noticed, but as good as any two tackles can be they cannot change the entire run defense.

Same logic. How did Barnett score well when Knight was was reading him all day long that lead to a ton of rush yards and rush TDs. He must be some shitty arse DE to allow a QB to do that to him.

When Kelly and Kamara are running almost exclusively dive plays, and still reeling off 7ypc, it's fairly safe to assume that the DTs aren't having a huge impact against the run.

Exactly how bad are the Aggie LBers and DEs at stopping the run? Isn't this something opposing fans have criticized Garrett for? Didn't Aggie fans tell us that he is a much improved run stopper and has become a complete player? Is your other DE and LBers that bad that 2 elite run stopping DTs and an elite DE are only good enough for bottom half of the conference and 67th in the country at stopping the run?
