Comparing Shaun Alexander to DMac is pure lunacy. DMac's peers are Bo and Herschel, period.

All time rushing yards:
1. 5,259— Herschel Walker, Georgia
2. 4,590- Darren McFadden, Arkansas
3. 4,557— Kevin Faulk, LSU
4. 4,303— Bo Jackson, Auburn

Herschel had 994 carries in his career. DMac had 785 carries in his career. Think about that. Herschel had over two hundred more carries than DMac, and DMac only ran for 669 fewer yards than Herschel.

And DMac played in a much tougher, much deeper SEC than Herschel did.

That's ok. D-Mac can still come over and look at Herschel's NC, and 3 SEC Champ rings. Not to mention a pretty cool bronze trophy. Aside from that, I'd still rate McFadden as the best RB to come out of the SEC in the last 20 years.
1. McFadden
2. Cadillac
3. Ronnie Brown
4. Faulk
5. Moreno

Keep in mind, as far as entire backfields on one team is concerned, Brandon Jacobs was the beast sitting behind Ronnie Brown and Caddilac.

It's not DMac's fault he was coached by a buffoon that couldn't get a decent QB or defense in place during his career.

I don't know why I keep wasting my time but I will do it again:

Felix Jones > Ronnie Brown, Moreno, etc....and it's not close.

Felix Jones at 7.2 yards per carry, 3,000 rushing yards, and 5,100 APY is no lower than the 3rd best back of the previous 10 years.

And like I said above, his 7.2 yards per carry is a FULL YARD ahead of #1 Bo Jackson in the YPC category. But Felix is 14 yards shy of the 400 carry minimum, therefore not on the list and often left out of discussion. Hell, even he were stopped at the line of scrimmage for 14 more carries he would surpass Bo by half a yard per carry.

I'm not sure where the Ronnie Brown lovefest comes from.

Statistically he isn't in the Top 3, or even Top 5, the past 10 years.

Hell, Cedric Cobbs put up more rushing yards and APY than Brown.

Until someone can provide statistical evidence otherwise:

1-McFadden
2-Williams
3-Jones

then on down the line, where ever you decide to put Brown, make sure Cobbs is at least one slot ahead of him seeing as how his numbers are greater.
