Mathieu isnt even an everydown player nickle backs dont play in every formation. He is small and has only avg at best speed. He was placed in the best situation for to make an impact. Reid is the man in any scheme on any team. Tm7 has been dominated by larger Wrs. Reid can play on all three levels.

So your telling me you would rather have Reid on your team than Mathieu?

I just want to get this right.

Dude, just stop. He does not only play nickel. He is a starting cover cornerback.

It obviously does not really matter, he still beasts out on the reg.

Is that not what most coaches do for their players?

He is a solid safety, yes...

You are using "dominated" extremely loosely here.

and which 3 levels are you talking about?

I am arguing that there can be a debate over Reid, and it doesn't just include TM7.

Interesting answer. Lester is a very solid player. Good football IQ. Probably not the best though.

The best returning player in the SEC on D may be the Georgia linebacker Jarvis Jones

He and Mathieu are the best returning defensive players. The whole "Eric Reid hands down" argument is pretty stupid because he isn't even the best DB on his team.

3 levels meaning in the box, intermediate, and deep. A system player is a player who does not translate across the board, Tm7 does come off the field he is horrible on the outside. He is a target in coverage, when teams target you specifically there is no way you can be the best player.

Good corners are avoided out of respect and fear. Dude is 5 foot 8 at best with 4.6 speed

Reid is bigger than Laron Landry and can actully cover.
Nobody who knows football would take Mathieu over Reid.

There is a reason he only had two offers.

Its not that crazy. Reid's a great all around safety. Matthieu has a knack for making big plays (and is a good return man obviously) but isn't exactly a shut down corner.
