Is that some type of revelation ?

Yes, it is. It points to the fact that there are 2 stable coaching situations in the league. The rest are either in a honeymoon phase or a 7-5 season away from being fired.

You stated 4-8 or 5-7, which at the upper programs in the SEC would mean their coach would be in trouble. Regardless of how stable they think their situation is.

Not in trouble, would be fired, without a doubt. The point was there are only 2 coaches in the league who have any deep equity with their fans and schools. That's a pretty low number for a league of 14 schools.

Dan Mullen is the second best coach in the SEC and the country. We are playing the long game. Gotta slowly build your assets. 3-4 years we will be in the top 5 regularly and when Saban retires there will be no one that can keep up with The Dan Mullen aka The Navigator, Aka The master commander of football scientology aka Cousin Eddie. Guys the shitter is full

Mullen and Malzahn do more with less than any coach the conference. It's easier to win at Bama, Florida, Georgia, LSU.

What? I would have Gus at 2 but more with less isn't a great description of him.

You guys have been in the top 10 of recruiting the last 5 or so years.

My point is that is a short snapshot in time. I do not think any coach in this Conference is safe anymore unless they perform. If they screw up they would be gone regardless. Would Saban survive back to back 5-7s ?

Two Eastern Division titles trumps an SEC Title and a NC Appearance ?

If he survives this season, 2018 and 2019 will be close to hitting that level... especially if we can buy/steal a couple of WRs and OLs worth a shite.

The head coaches in this great league are pathetic right now.

On top of that 4 or 5 will be gone at the end of the year.

Saban has fricked this conference up on the field as well as on the sidelines.

Sad thing MSU looked like the better team for a lot of that game. Difference was our RB screwing around in the end zone and getting a safety, Bama scores a field goal next drive and that was the difference in the game.

Oh, and Dak throwing three picks on y'alls side of the 50 did not help either. Feel like MSU could have easily won that game.

SEC coaches are pretty mediocre outside of Saban, hence why the SEC is pretty mediocre outside of Bama.

It's probably Mullen.

There's probably too small of a sample size of coaches in the SEC with a significant track record to make that call.
