We sit at halftime. That's about it. If you're telling me that standing during halftime makes a difference in the game then I can't help you. And no sorority girls don't sit 75% of the time. She lied to you.

I mean it as "about 75% of the time, you could probably spot some girls sitting"

When the wife gets tired of it, she tells me to go golfing, so.................

Thank you! I was wondering how long it would take for somebody to catch the sheep and A&M reference.

Tomato vs toematoe

Numbers is not the sole criteria. I like percentages and volume. Say you are at a college that has 2,000 students and 1,800 show up for the worst game of the season and yell their arse off. That is a student section. Bonus points if they show up and haven't won a game all season.

there is nothing like LSU for a big night game....

it only happens once every couple of years but when Tiger Stadium is bringing it....no place better ANYWHERE!!!!

This is a fact. I will admit that LSU students don't bring it for every game like some schools, but when we get a bigtime night game in Tiger Stadium the student section (and the whole stadium) becomes a beast like no other. LINK

So during a tv timeout, the entire student section at Florida is standing?

Yes. TV timeouts aren't that long and that is usually when a lot of the Gator cheers start. Plus, during the game the student section is incredibly cramped, it would be hard to sit down even if you wanted to.

Even if it's not that long, absolutely no one uses it as a chance to get a break? Impressive. This is what I saw from Ole Miss, LSU and Arkansas fans. Why do you think y'all don't sit and they do? It's just more cramped?

I can see you're being chippy; but the standing thing ... it really does make a big difference in attitude and continuous noise raining down onto the field.

I think the design of your previous stadium took away from the noise level. Once renovations are done and its closed in, it will be very loud. Especially with the field being lowered
