I can make an educated guess. How many seats is it? Do they stand the whole game? Where are the seats? I think A&M's advantage is so great in these categories, that even the drunkest gump haters wouldn't be able to band together to be louder.
I judge the student section by the amount of presnap penalties the crowd causes the opponent. At aTm. I dont remember any. At Auburn, there were presnap penalties all year long

Just because y'all let your students have a bigger section doesn't make it better. Plus it doesn't seem that loud or crazy

Darlin--for the record--you don't know crazy .
I've zero doubt that other schools bring it as well; but our crazy starts at midnight the night before, and it stews all night long, before erupting into 30+ insane students--who aren't permitted to sit during the entire game.
They have one job: yell like frick.
If the team loses, it's on the 12th Man.

Also why do y'all act like standing the whole game is a unique thing? Doesn't everybody in the SEC do that?

One of my best friends was a sorostitute at Auburn, but both her sisters went to A&M. When she came for a game my freshman year, she saw with me. She said, "I knew y'all said you stood the whole game, but I didn't know you meant the whole game".

For every SEC team during most of the action, almost everyone is standing. I'd say some girls aren't standing somewhere near 75% of the time. During breaks in action, most people sit down. At A&M, you can't sit down because you're yelling the whole time. It's when the yell leaders usually have the most freedom to do an organized yell.

Depends on the game. Ours has been know to get their drank on after halftime if we are up big or if it's a crappy OOC game. But then again I would imagine that's the case at other schools too.

Why do we as LSU fans have to be so insufferable sometimes? For example, starting threads like this just so we can complain about our students even though they're no different than 90% of the rest of LSU fans that go to the stadium and leave early.

A&M was not loud at all in 2012 vs LSU

Well it was a mid day game and in the 90s. Same for Bama last year, hot as hell right in the mid day sun but it was plenty loud. It's not loud at Tiger stadium at 11am either.

Check the noise level this year now that we have a night game.

I can see you're being chippy; but the standing thing ... it really does make a big difference in attitude and continuous noise raining down onto the field.

Seat capacity doesn't always correlate into the best student section. A&M is obviously up there, but you don't have an edge just because you have more students.

It doesn't give us an overall edge, but it's definitely a factor, isn't it? How could it not be? If we have 30k students, how does that not make it better than a student section with only 8k? All else being equal?

The title of this thread is "best football student section in the SEC", not "dumbest student section in the SEC". You have to admit, standing the entire game, even during breaks, is a sheep following other sheep mentality.

Do the girls have to stand while they pee?

I don't think this is the case. It certainly isn't true at UF and isn't what I have seen at other venues.

We sit at halftime. That's about it. If you're telling me that standing during halftime makes a difference in the game then I can't help you. And no sorority girls don't sit 75% of the time. She lied to you.

You must be stupid.

I don't care how many students you have at games, where they sit, how long they stand or how many times they "wooooooooooooo" in freakish unison.

You don't have the best, you have the weirdest.

Take a bow...

Why do some of you have to come in and piss on every thread?
Another school chooses to do things differently, and you start in with the always original sheep commentary.
Does it ever feel kinda rotten to be an a-hole, or are you just used to it by now?

The Rain Game. Maybe the best example of a crazy arse student section ever. The announcers and even Chizik to start his pregame presser said holy shite the AU students were amazing.

Can't even see the student section it is raining so hard. Rest of the stadium has cleared out, student section has stayed and is rocking:

After 1 hour plus delay and students having been waiting 3-4 hours, it erupts:

So during a tv timeout, the entire student section at Florida is standing? If that's true, I'm impressed. I saw tons of students at Ole Miss and LSU sitting when they got a chance. My Auburn friend complained that she couldn't sit during breaks when she came to a game at Kyle Field. I have also seen it among the Arky students at Jerry World. Florida might be different. Good for y'all.
