You definitely live in fantasy land.

Funny enough however is that the Cal AD was fired recently.

Death certificates

So players have not died during summer drills forcing them to overexert their bodies to become conditioned enough to run the offense their coaches dictate?

News to me.

This thread will be like a baby in a car seat on a hot July afternoon. You smell shite and you realize the baby has crapped her shorts but you can't stop the car until the next exit. You turn around and ask the baby, "Did you crap your pants, Hun?"

She's a baby and has no clue what you just said, but she smiles anyhow.

Then you get to the next exit and pull into a gas station. You unbuckle her car seat safety harness and lift her up to take her to the bathroom for a quick diaper change...except when you lift her up, liquid shite cascades down both legs. Dammit, the baby had a blowout!

Then you realize shite is on the baby's hands. She's been rubbing her hands in crap for several miles. Now the baby is playfully slapping your face and holding onto your shirt. You realize shite is now on you and you unexpectedly gag a couple of times. You notice shite soaked into her car seat padding and you realize what that implies for the rest of the road trip.

Everything is descending into chaos and there's very little you can do about it.

For performance (or lack thereof). Interestingly, Bert's firing could have very reasonably come under that label as well.

He took over a team that won 4 games and lost to the NFL a QB, TE, WR, 3 RBs, LB, 2 Olinemen.

If anything, Bert overachieved last season.

Believe me we get it. We have all had a coach we pretended to support when we secretly wished he would go for many SEC teams we have felt this way even while that coach was successful on the field. CTT for Auburn 2009-2012 comes to mind. Successful 2009-2011 though.

This doesn't sound like a bandwagon fan statement, at all.

Let me put it this way.

When John L was talking about things like how "the fans in the great state of Alabama need to rally around our team" and "smile!" and "get your piss hot", I was definitely embarrassed by our head coach.

With Bret Beliema? Did 3-9 suck? You bet your arse. But am I embarrassed by him? Not in the slightest.

Another thread started about Arkansas by a goat fricker that hasn't got a dog in the fight, I see...

Business as usual.

It isn't bandwagon. Quite the opposite. Being loyal even when you know you shouldn't. But part of the healing process is to admit what you really feel at the appropriate time.

I think he could be successful in the SEC, but I think he is a bad fit at arky. IMO, he should be at atm and Sumlin should be at arky, and both schools would be better off.

He got called out by the leadership of a far superior university for disrespecting a student who'd died, I'd say that's pretty embarrassing. Any reasonable school would have fired him.

Eh, the AD at Cal isn't a far superior, and that trick already got her arse fired. It was quite telling that she thought stooping down to the level to reply to Bert's comments. Besides the kid died on her watch, maybe if Cal had been paying more attention to their athletes and their medical needs that death might have been avoided.

Cal isn't the only program to have a player die under their supervision.

A coach who lobbed the jab out there today has a history of no regard to the safety of himself, other citizens, or his players, in other words he has no credibility when it comes to safety.
