You're going to change little things, absolutely. You're going to change personnel, change the way you do things, the way you communicate, but don't change what is the core fundamentals of what you believe in. I'm not going to a no huddle hurry-up offense, cover zero defense. We're going to stick to our principles and do it better. As a head coach I need to enforce that daily

Freeze did inherit some players he's been able to use as a base to add too through recruiting.
Pre-Freeze, OM was way more decimated than Arky during Bert's arrival. This is a bullshite excuse.

Coaching wise, yes.
Roster/talent level wise, no.

I highly doubt that you actually knew anything about the shape of our roster when Bielema arrived to actually be qualified to make this call.

They were extremly thin and were forced to start just as many freshman in 2012 as Ark did in 2013. This is just another weak excuse. It was indeed a factor to the lack of success, but to say you were worse off than OM in 2012 is more than a reach.

Definitely embarrassed Arkansas and added insult to injury.
What did he say that was embarrassing?

There is more to roster management than just number of freshmen started. Like I said, the likelihood you know about our roster going into last year is probably small. You're no more qualified to make that call than the person you're condemning.

Ole Miss lost to every decent team they played in 2012, they didn't exactly set the world on fire.

Which doesn't make me wrong then.
I knew you'd understand.

So you're saying roster management isn't affected by the number of freshman you are FORCED to start? I get what you're implying but the difference is Freeze made something out of his just as thin roster and Fat Bert didn't.

I like Bert and think he'll do great, given a few more years. I hope arKansas realizes that he needs time to change from Petrino's O to Bert's O. Give the man a break, and 4 more years.

I wish other fanbases would realize what he is wanting to do is going to take time to install, it would cut down on the bullshite here.
