A 17 year old that's 6'10 with Lebron's skillset. 21-20 and 7 tonight. Eta: And no, I was born in 1990 and unfortunately wasn't able to witness the legend Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf

He needs to take the ball and win that game on the last play.

You're drunk or just started watching basketball.

I'm 25. Carmelo wasn't a facilitator of the basketball at Syracuse nor has he ever been. Simmons is the second coming of Lebron. Given the limited sample size we've seen, it's safe to assume he'll only get better.

Kid has only played a few games and hasn't even been that impressive in all of them. Not going to count him out, but Michael Beasley, Melo, Ant Davis, and Chris Jackson are some all time great Freshmen with retarded numbers.

For me it was Durant. 26-11-2-2-2 with a +40% 3 point percentage.

However I did see him in person get beat badly at Reed Arena and Acie Law.

He's averaging 19-13-5 as a 17 year old. Not impressive at all. I agree

Again, I'm not counting him out but the players I named did it for an entire season. Not just against the scrub teams that most schools open up with.

As the guy above posted, add Durant to that list as well. Was great and clutch that entire year. Simmons already choked one game away.
