Pretty much this. Both teams poured out everything they had Monday night. Alabama just made more plays when it mattered most to win the game.

I agree with this. I came away with a ton of respect for Clemson. For the first time since 2007, at the end of that game I saw a Bama team that was physically beaten. The saving grace was Clemson was too. Both had no more to give, but the difference was Bama had the lead.

They genuinely Believe they should have been in the playoffs. Despite being unimpressive much of the year, having one good win, and not being conference champions

When you get beat at home by the team who was shutout 38-0 in the playoff, you've lost all argument for being in the title discussion.

I do think Bama is 2 scores better than Clemson

Of course you do. Most people think Bama earned that win and most of the commentary out there is it was a great football team played to wire. You can't have it both ways. You can't say Clemson got beat on special teams and Coker shouldn't have taken the sacks. Your oline was getting owned.

A lot of Clemson fans expected to win this game. And rightfully so, we had a good team this year. Congrats though, Alabama had just a little more and made the championship plays to win the game. Special teams are a very important part and we were abused in crunch time

You couldn't tell how well Clemson's OLine played because it was like trying to catch a greased pig. We'd get pressure and he'd slip free.

But the D got enough stops.

The argument really becomes tricky when you consider that you play an 8 game conference schedule vs a 9 game schedule and you're getting a patsy, usually scheduled at the end of the season.

Playing a patsy outside the conference or if your lucky enough to have several in your conference still means you get to play a patsy. I don't see your point.

To be honest, I have seen more venom from Ohio State fans about this year's title game, and how Ohio State would have beat both Clemson and Alabama than any fanbase. I get that they were great last year and won the national title, but they lost to frickin Michigan State, who we blew out in the playoffs, so what are they even on about?

Did MSU even have their qb for that game?

No, they played 2 guys who had never played before and basically ran the Shula with Brandon Avalos offense. Options, QB sweeps, short passes and 50 draw plays. They pounded Ohio State the last few drives on the ground, and Michigan State was really pretty bad all year running the ball.

Between that and their total lack of other meaningful games or good opponents, I was seriously pretty shocked to see a lot of them complaining about being left out.

I wasn't. Don't know if you're a subscriber to SXM, but they call in nonstop nearly everyday crying about how they don't get respect. That shite gets old quick.

No, but I dealt with them in New Orleans last year. My gosh.

Not a single bit of credit to Alabama to be found LOL. I think they played about as well as they could have, and they were still down two scores in the fourth quarter.

Yes Alabama won, but I wouldn't be bragging about this win Gumps. Seriously, every score you guys had was a big play. Honestly Clemson definitely outplayed Alabama. You shouldn't feel good about a 5 point win when you pay for some of the better athletes. Alabama has been buying NC's, I would not be happy nor proud of my School for buying and sometimes down right stealing not earning wins.

You guys are an embarrassment to College Football. And your fans think you guys are Legit. Please salvage what little pride you can by coming forth with the truth... The Truth will eventually catch up to you. The irony is that it won't discipline or hurt the players over the past 5-6 years, it will be the future Alabama players that will pay the price under sanctions from the NCAA. The Championships will be redacted.

But hey, your current happiness is what matters right? You guys will be the biggest scandal since SMU, Penn State, USC, etc... pick a team that has been in deep deep trouble before and you will know you are sullying future generations at your school...

And btw, I don't hate Alabama I feel sorry for the future generations that will have to pay for your players and coaches treachery. We all know its not all Coaches and Players, but everyone knows its enough Coaches, Players, and $$$...

Completely agree, best times call I've seen in years.

However, I honestly believe, and Nick said as much in the post game interview; he has to do it. He didn't believe they could stop Clemsons offense going forward. His D needed more rest. If the kick failed , Clemson would have won.

I am saying you compensate for having a more difficult conference slate. Not saying it means you're schedule becomes lighter.

I believe you're talking about savage tiger. Wish he would quit making videos or put another teams gear on while making them. I sure don't like it

I make a post to the point and I am not looking to rack up posts just to say, "Hey look at me and all my posts"...

Your handle gives you away. Seems like someone is secretly in love with Louisiana. It's all good man, we understand... I guess if I loved Alabama my handle would be GotNoTeefAndIGotMySisterPregnantDJKevlar.
