Wishcasting by the Barners never gets old.

These inbreds are so incompetent that they ran off a legacy. The son of an honest-to-God Auburn fambily hero, who took a job at Phenix City literally just to get close to that shithole and watch Junior Barner Bo play every weekend. Bo, Pat, and Krista learned exactly how shitty AU fans are, and how inept their AD is.

There is nothing as pathetic as the typical insecure Auburn fan trying to make himself feel better about his program.

I'm just calling it like I see it. Keep coping. You must be real young to not remember the days before Saban. You'll get to experience the days post-Saban really soon.

I don't feel better about Auburn cause of Alabama sucking. I'd be suspect of DeBoer if he came to Auburn too.

To be honest, I think that the issue of being able to recruit well will become the deciding factor of whether or not DeBoer will make it at Alabama.

Alabama is currently listed at #29 on the Rivals 2025 ranking. Additionally, the Learfield on-campus deal that Saban opposed will make it even harder to match the competition.

Kelly, in particular, is going to have a decided edge in the short term.

The guy has been there a little over a week. The product he puts on the field will be the determining factor of how well he recruits.

Alabama has had 7 high end recruits de-commit from the 2025 class since Saban retired.

And like I stated, Alabama has slipped to #29 on the Rivals ranking chart because of it.

DeBoer is being seen as a "risk" by many of the high end athletes at this juncture.

Is Alabama with DeBoer still the same as Alabama with Saban? At this point it doesn't look like it.

Well….you do have a long history of hiring lousy coaches, so you have experience.

But you keep hiring lousy ones, so I’m not sure your opinion has any weight. Guess we’ll have to wait a few years and see.

I don't make hiring decisions at any university. I hated the Harsin hire at the start for the same reasons I hate the DeBoer.

It’s almost suicide for the next coach or two to follow Nick Saban.
