Is the bar for Alabama already just a winning season. Wow how the mighty have fallen.

"Mass Exodus is overstating"

28 of 85 players leaving being called an exodus is overstating?

It’ll start in 2025, maybe in 2024 if you can even field a team of 22.

Maybe some players can play both sides of the ball for y’all.

I'm just surprised Bama doesn't have more big time boosters. I figured they would hang with the top 10 easy.

No doubt Alabama will take a step back, but to think what Malzahn (who was fired) left and what Saban left is drastically different. Even with everyone who has left Alabama so far, they still have better talent than Auburn

Did allmof this happen the year after Hardin’s previous team played for a NC? Just curious!

Alabama will get this worked out. We just had the best 17 year run in college football history and it just ended. There was no good way for this to end. This new coach deserves a shot and I think he will be given one. Harsin was never accepted at Auburn and they started tearing him
Down from day one and that’s how Auburn differs from Alabama. We will at least give this coach a shot!

Hiring his old coaches and putting together a Vandy/South Carolina/Memphis Staff - Harsin

Sabin had 4 former Mushcamp Gamecock assistants on his staff in 2023 along with a 5th who coached at USC prior -

you missed your mark including Carolina with the other two to make your point here

Lose a few more players and maybe a game and see what happens. It wont last long. You had people calling for Saban to retire after the loss to Texas.

Of course

But Bama is battling a lot of hurdles here - some high end roster depletion, some degree of culture change, personnel differences with new guys being brought with new coach and the remnant high end talent, high anxiety fans, etc.

My guess is that DeBoer could do pretty well at Bama under the right circumstances, but I think he'll be on a knife's edge to make all this work well enough the first couple of years and not get into a spiral where internal conflicts, pressures, etc. destabilize his tenure.

Ultimately, what was a really hard task (finding a way to follow Saban) has become almost insurmountable

We had over 20 the year before. Nothing new to be honest. Downs and Amos will hurt. The real question now thought can replace positions of need. That will be the real question.
