Basketball sucks.
For the most part, but not as much as college baseball.

Now there's something we can agree on.

Basketball is more popular, though many like baseball more. I happen to like baseball more and I feel that the college basketball product is getting worse.
The big two versus big three argument is quite stupid. There is the big one. There's a huge gap between football and basketball. The gap between basketball and baseball, in the SEC at least, pales in comparison.

A: Fixing to change
B: Still a better history than Ole Piss

Didn't realize we were talking about history. As in the past. As in not the present.

I wasn't talking about attendance

I like tennis more than baseball. Hell I like watching paint dry more than baseball.

What about Television Viewership and subscriptions that people may to watch baseball from a school sponsored stream?
Also those attendance numbers are a bit misleading since most of the basketball arenas hold more people than the baseball stadium can allow. Also those numbers don't take into account the people that sit in outfield lounges like a MSU you or the students at Ole Miss.

I understand that you have to specify to fit your point since their isn't much to brag about.

No. I just keep seeing people who are adamant that baseball is more popular, so I thought I'd run the numbers.
Well those people are retarded because it is common knowledge basketball is more popular across the country. Just think about it, baseball's postseason is on ESPN3.com while march madness is on national tv. It doesn't take a genius to figure this out and whoever argued college baseball is more popular has a screw loose. I hope it keeps getting more popular, though. I just don't understand how it isn't more popular with MLB being so popular.

It's the only thing that's relevant?

That's why I did capacity too. Only two schools are at 100% in either sport. Kentucky basketball and LSU baseball, so the amount that a stadium can hold is irrelevant until capacity is reached.

I don't mind that some people like college baseball. However, it's funny to hear fans act like it even compares to the big two on any meaningful scale. It's also ridiculous to assert that fans don't like it simply because their team isn't good.
