BESR bats had it just right in differentiating from MLB and keeping the game competitive and entertaining to watch. 4-5 run leads simply werent safe with those bats...where as now like some other folks have said, sometimes just 2 runs late in a game seem insurmountable.
I really think the NCAA got pushed around by MLB and they passed off the new BBCOR bats as being "Safer". As if baseball is a really dangerous sport to start with and as if a ball 3-5mph slower is really going to change an injury that much if it nails someone in the head.

Meh. I'm not a huge fan of basketball myself. Like I said though, I saw a lot of people saying that baseball is more popular in the SEC. I was just interested in the numbers.

I am obviously not on the side that thinks baseball is more popular... But if we are just talking on the SECr, I think that would be up for debate.
