Watson worked our defense over. He is legit.
Dabo got out coached. He should have adjusted his defense to account for OJ Howard at some point. He failed to do so, resulting in ANOTHER Bama NC.

No man, never watched a single minute of it. Good god, there are some dense people who post on here.
Well, what is your prediction? And on what are you basing it? Come on, provide me with some analysis. I'm sure with a mind like yours it will be scintillating.

Bama fans propping up Clemson simply because they played them close LAST YEAR is kind of dumb

Watson is a difference maker, big time. If he were not out there Bama kills Clemson in a Fourth Quarter beatdown. But he was, and had a hell of a game. Without the depth Alabama had in the front 7 to keep fresh bodies out there I don't think they win that game.
They got just enough stops to get it done. Just enough.

quote:Depth at LB helped too - Rashean Evans played a huge part in the 2nd half. A smaller, faster defensive packed was needed late in the game to contain Watson.

Um, no we didn't. Bama beat Clemson because (a) Clemson forgot that the tight end is an eligible receiver and (b) Bama has a really fast tight end. Watson, on the other hand, lit us up like a 4th of July fireworks show.
Thank you. Clemson's Kevin Steele like defense vs Alabama left a TE wide open several times and Saban even went for some trickery with an onside kick to beat Clemson.
Watson had a freaking field day. I keep trying to warn these Auburn guys that Kevin Steele is going to make them wonder if they even have a secondary, or is it just 7 people on the field.
They rarely even mention Wayne Gallman at RB who is extremely underrated and they have a new RB that many are calling the next CJ Spiller.
I feel sorry for Auburn's defense......well, not really.

Yeah he was the unsung hero of that game. He really did make a big difference

Not as versatile, but better power runner than Spiller.

I'd take a hard look at that line. Either Auburn is able to overcome their recent problems and pulls out a close win, or Auburn doesn't manage to come back from the problems and gets blown out. It looks like the latter, but it's silly to take a firm stance before the first game of the season.
Hell, Clemson might be miles better than Auburn but rusty starting out. It happens.

May or may not become a great returner, but some are saying that he looks like he could be a better receiver than Spiller. If you just go by his senior stats, he seems like the ultimate APB: 1120 rush yards 10 TDs, 980 receiving yards 12 TDs.

Starting a thread about your OOC rival. Wasn't as prevalent as I thought here
Happens more to A&M fans I suppose

Did you watch the game?
Bama won because Satan finally out coached someone. He beat Dabo in the special teams game (oh the irony.)
Bama could not stop Watson. We no chance with no Lbers experience and Kevin Steele at DC.

We're gonna give Watson food poisoning before the game. MOFO aint gonna play. Go bet on that.
