You would be wrong. Gallman is a stud. He had a pretty good game against Bama as well

So is Feaster, top high school back in the country. Given Hallman is a player and will likely play on Sundays because of his versatility, but it would not surprise to see Feaster get the ball 15 or so times.

Bama beat Clemson because (a) Clemson forgot that the tight end is an eligible receiver and (b) Bama stole a possession with one of the best-ever onsides kicks -- the play call and the execution.

Watson through for over 400. Is that putting him in a box?

Exactly how does one "through"? I have wondered that often while reading some Gump posts.

Not in Louisiana. Saban and Steele have both coached at LSU. One is definitely not like the other.

Nah. Adam Choice is Gallmans backup. Feaster will gain more carries as the season progresses

Feaster would probably be the starter at a lot of schools. Clemson has depth. They can bring freshmen along more slowly

I have it from someone who who knows that this kid will be the best back Clemson has ever had before he is through, avoiding any serious injury of course. Toe Spiller was great, so were toot and poot. But this kid is the real deal.

lol Watson went in dry on bama.

Saban beat Clemson because Clemson busted about 4 coverages on the tight end.

This is a very different Clemson team defensively - far less talented. That gives Auburn hope but Auburn doesn't have the horses to be an offensive juggernaut like past Malzahn teams. Watson will do his thing and score 14 more than Auburn by himself. This game looks like a blowout to me but Clemson played some stinkers last year so I won't predict it but I think it's more likely than not. Louisville, NC State, South Carolina, North Carolina all gave Clemson all they wanted because Clemson struggled. Clemson's sputters sometimes but even if they do struggle against Auburn they'll have enough to dispatch Auburn because Auburn doesn't have the talent to hang with any top 10 team.

Those aren't stinkers. Conference play is conference play. Those are the teams, players, coaches, coordinators that face you every year and know you better than anybody. They're much better prepared for what you do as a result, year in and year out, win or lose.

STs play was the difference in the game.

There was no containment of Watson.

Can we have this box that Saban used to put him in?

Bama should have had 2 more picks in the game. The game plan was good and the execution was good. Alabama did have Clemson in a box. Watson was great most of the time but he made some bad throws he got away with.

You can't let him have 400 yards, Bama could, barely.

I have their early game plan from people in the know. Dabo is going to let Number 4 pass all he wants in the first half. And there will be some running too, mostly by Gallman, but not enough to completely tire him out.

In the second half Dabs is going to try to ram Feaster, Gallman and Choice down your throats, again with Watson. After much research on the game, I have decided to leave it alone.

Y'all have to remember that Watson in in a prime time slot that could impact the Heisman. On the road in one of the toughest places to play anywhere.
