It took everything Alabama had, including whatever trick plays we were holding back all season, to beat Clemson, and even with that we barely pulled it off. We hardly slowed Watson down. Clemson will be a team on a mission with a chance in their first game to redeem themselves against a middling SEC team. Auburn will be lucky to keep it within three scores.

Pull your head out of your arse for a second. Bama struggles against very mobile QB's under Saban.
Watson went in dry on Bama's D that game but if not for Watson, clemmy loses a cpl last year.
Do not let your homer for your team and angst for your rival blur your vision here.
Bama dominates teams that try to outpower them but struggles with mobile QB's and a spread offense.
Aubby has a different dynamic than bama does and will present a different look to the taters.
I'm not saying they beat them but it is not out of the question just because bama had a rough go at it in the NCG.

Alabama didn't stop Watson from doing shite. He had a field day with our defense. Alabama won that game because Lane Kiffin is fricking awesome.

In some parts of the country, they call Steele "Saban Jr."

Obviously that part of the country is also known as "Auburn", right?

Da fuq? Are you on a mission to post this little gem in every thread on the board today? I've seen it in 3 other threads already this morning.

If you want to be banned that bad, you know the key to the grand goodbye.

By struggle, do you mean they don't beat them as badly?

How does Auburn do against mobile QBs?

Louisville, for example?
Jax State?
Mississippi State?
They all had mobile QBs last year.

"Steele is going to frick Watson's arse and make him humble"

Ha, ha. Auburn coaches are queers.

Watson, on the other hand, lit us up like a 4th of July fireworks show.

I understand about the TE and you are, of course, right.

But Saban kept running in fresh tackles, ends and backers the whole night. And Watson was hurried. Damn, y'all had at least 12 four-star and above defensive linemen.

But Watson will probably be the first pick in the 2017 draft.

I mean you basically answered your question with this response. There are MAYBE 3-5 other teams who have the type of talent in the front 7 Bama has, and maybe none. And additionally Watson had a field day anyway, so they didn't box him up or anything of the sort. Bama won in a shootout, which I'm not sure anyone could have seen coming

I am too, a bit. I am thinking asking Auburn fans if they can replicate something Alabama did? A two rivals
thing in the same thread? Just a guess.

Can we have this box that Saban used to put him in?

No, Saban is using it to stand on so he can see.

Clemson has some extremely gifted WRs but our CBs match up extremely well against them when combined with our DL.

I can't speak gas to who Clemson returns but I would put Bamas front last January and secondary against Auburns any day. Watson is for real and easily the most talented QB Bamas has ever faced. He is a precise passer and I know y'all defense is not faster than Alabamas. I don't know man. I don't think bama could beat them this year.

goodness.

I know week 1 is crazy and anything can happen, but I don't see how AU keeps this within 2 touchdowns.

Might for for Auburn IF their offense can outscore Clemson. I've seen no evidence to show that's possible.

We won the NC last year, and pounded your team en route to it, so yes, the current iteration of Alabama is better than that of Auburn. Therefore, the fact that we struggled against Clemson leads one to think that Auburn will struggle to an even greater degree. This is simple logic, concentrate really hard for a few minutes and I'm sure you can follow it.

We lost to Clemson by 5. It came down to the 4th quarter. Your logic is flawed, greatly.

Clemson will likely win, but Bama fans propping up Clemson simply because they played them close LAST YEAR is kind of dumb. Every game is different.
