Mcarron's stats show he doesn't even belong in the top 5. No way he finished second in the voting.

To think that bama dominated or even "controlled" Auburn the whole game is a bit ridiculous. Believe it or not but other than the 99 yard pass, your offense got stopped. Basically we shut it down in the second half when it mattered and when bama needed it.

400 yards is "stopped"? In what universe? So I guess that means your offense was stopped, since it gained 393?

If you continued to read, I said we shut it down in the 2nd half. Meaning you scored once on a 99 yard play. Other than that bama had no answer to score and we made key stops.

I guess in your universe "stopped" means yardage instead of points, which is the only thing that matters. Bama scored once in the second half. Auburn scored every quarter.

Yards don't win games. Points do.

Correct. 4 in 22 seasons.

This is actually an interesting question. Alabama fans what would you consider the best win of the season? Avenging the loss to A&M in college station? LSU at home?

Ole Miss.

Auburn's signature wins are Alabama and Missouri, which are two teams that didn't beat anyone that finished the regular season with fewer than 3 losses. Both teams played one team currently ranked in the Top 10 and lost. Their best wins, LSU and Georgia, both lost to an unranked opponent and finished 3rd in their respective divisions.

Who did Auburn beat?

....For everything right about AJ, he wasn't worthy of the Heisman.

I think the Auburn game was the dealbreaker for AJ. If bama makes that 80 yard field goal, then that and the 99 yard td pass becomes the storyline of the game.

Kick6 dwarf's everything.

playing a tough SEC Schedule

One of the largest misrepresentations in the modern history of SEC football.

Thanks to their scheduling lackey at the SEC office, Bammer has consistently gotten breaks with not having to play the traditional top tier SEC-East teams such as UGa, UF,& lately, USC-East.

Tough to pile up signature wins with this kind of scheduling bias by Slive & the Bammer homers at the conference HQ.

When Alabama wins the West, they'd have to play one of the East powers in the SEC Championship, so it doesn't matter. 2011 featured a schedule that was by far the toughest that LSU has ever faced and LSU went 13-0. Quit bitching about LSU struggling against unranked opponents and teams that they are better than.

2013 Georgia and Ole Miss were easily winnable games. 2012 Florida and Alabama were winnable games. LSU lost them all, and with them, a shot at the West Division, SEC Championship, and BCSNC.

On the topic of schedules, was Florida complaining that Georgia got Auburn (a team that's been inconsistent over the past decade) as opposed to a fairly consistent contender in LSU? 2012 Florida went 4-1 versus Top 15 teams during the 2012 regular season.

It's amazing how everyone puts LSU into everything. I thought LSU is on the decline the last several years so that means a win over LSU is not a signature win!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Which is the main reason for the post. It is their signature win because LSU is the only team with at least nine wins who bama has beaten.
