I would love it if Florida jumped BAMA for the #1 spot. Go ahead and take it. As long as we keep winning, everything will sort itself out. Id rather our team assume the underdog role and play mad as hell.

This. And the '12 Florida version is a little better so maybe they can at least make a game of it this time IF they make it to the SECCG, but I wouldn't bet on it.
FTR, it's not just the human polls that like Bama. Of the 6 computer polls, 2 have Bama #1, 2 have ND #1, 1 has KSU, and 1 has Florida.

Yeah, we haven't played well at all this year. Definitely don't deserve the #1 ranking. What does it really matter right now anyway? It only matters at the end of the season.

exactly. For those that say bs like Bama "dodged" some east teams...you need to learn how the scheduling works. Bama, nor any other team in the SEC, play every cross divisional team.
You play every team in your division, and then there's a few spaces avail to play cross divisional teams. One will almost always be your cross division rival. For Bama that's TN.
Bama played S. Car two years in a row during the regular season, 2009/2010. they played GA 2 years in a row during reg season 2007/2008. They played Florida two years in a row from the 2010/2011 seasons. They play Mizzou 2 years in a row now and it will rotate to a dif Eastern team in 2014.
