AJ has been given the back up job behind Dalton because he is impressing his coaches. And given some of Dalton's shortcomings we might even see AJ getting some first team reps at some point this year.

Yeah Croyle made it into the league also... Which means absolutely nothing... Only one of those three still has a chance to play a game...

There is trolling and there is being laughed at for stupidity, the latter applies here.

Why are y'all having such a problem developing these highly recruited qbs?
They aren't.

Obviously an LSU fan knows nothing about developing qbs...

McCarron was underrated. That guy was capable and smooth.

Not a popular opinion on here, but dead-on.

Agreed, guy was amazing under pressure... He was held back under Saban's system and henceforth couldn't develop more as NFL type qb...

You could've put almost any Qb on those teams and came up with the same result..
I'm sorry...I'm trying, but for the life of me I can't remember who the SECCG MVPs were in 2009 and 2014 and the BCSCG offensive MVP in Jan., 2012 vs. LSU. Help me out here. Who were they?

You do realize that the same could be asked of you? Just pointing out the obvious.

Sorry, but stats and awards doesn't equal development... See Trent richardson, guy was a physical phenomenon that plowed people in college... Never was taught to wait on his blockers and find the hole, that's why he's in the position he's in now...

Saban's job is to develop players into good college athletes. It's up to the player and the coaches at the next level to continue that development.
Saban succeeded in developing Wilson, McElroy, McCarron and Sims into good college QBs. What happens next is beyond his control.
