Just wondering why a highly touted recruit would pick Bama.. Well, hell, then why would a highly rated defensive recruit choose AU?

Instead of setting up a system for them to progress..

Wilson- progressed NFL
McElroy- meh NFL
McCarron- progressed NFL
Sims- progressed ?

You're an imbecile.

that is some great insight, how did that get past all other CFB fans the last several years.

If this is known why would Barnett and Cornwell come into that... Why wouldn't they go somewhere their talent would be utilized and developed to get them ready for the NFL..

A) What an absolutely stupid thread. Have a downvote, ban yourself, and then kill yourself, OP.

B) Alabama has had streak of consistent QB play in the Saban era and you're an idiot if you think they don't develop quarterbacks. Yes, everyone realizes the entire team is loaded and the defense, OL, and RBs carry the team. Get over it.

2008: 187/323, 57.9%, 2273 yards, 10 TD, 8 INT, 122.3 rating, 5 rushing TD
2009: 198/325, 60.9%, 2508 yards, 17 TD, 4 INT, 140.5 rating, 1 rushing TD
2010: 222/313, 70.9%, 2987 yards, 20 TD, 5 INT, 169.0 rating, 1 rushing TD
2011: 219/328, 66.8%, 2634 yards, 16 TD, 5 INT, 147.3 rating, 2 rushing TD
2012: 211/314, 67.2%, 2933 yards, 30 TD, 3 INT, 175.3 rating, 1 rushing TD
2013: 226/336, 67.3%, 3063 yards, 28 TD, 7 INT, 167.2 rating, 0 rushing TD
2014: 252/391, 64.5%, 3487 yards, 28 TD, 10 INT, 157.9 rating, 7 rushing TD

I would say that he was throwing to probably one of the best receivers ever to play college football might had something to do with that..

Based on this answer there is no argument a Bama fan can make to refute your OP that you won't make some smart arse reply to, so why bother. Do you feel superior and special for making threads like this? You don't really care and know that Bama has been fine at QB for the last 8 seasons under Saban, and will continue to be. Bama has had four QBs under Saban. Three are in or have played in the NFL. Who knows what McCarron will do or Sims for that matter. If you think it makes Bama look bad that so far no QB under Saban has been a full time starter or NFL MVP at the QB position you are sadly mistaken.

Take away Coates and Duke Williams and Marshall sucked arse last season. That is a stupid argument. So in your mind a great QB should be able to take 4 terrible WRs and be all American?

For some reason bama fans wanna make this about AU... I agree with you, marshall isn't a qb, he's a great athlete.. Put in the right system he took our team to a national championship game.

How do you do that after playing QB for 15 years? Terrible job by Saban and company.

McElroy- SEC, National title McCarron- SEC, 2 National titles Sims- SEC title OP stupid.

McElroy- SEC, National Title (OC McElwain) 2009

McCarron- SEC, National Title x 2 (OC McElwain)2011
2012 (Nussmeier)

2013 McCarron (Nussmeier) kick 6, otherwise probably another National Title

2014 Simms (Kiffin) CFP Loss

I fail to see where the lack of developement at QB for Bama is.

I don't think Bama was Barnett's or Cornwell's first choice. Regardless, are you really questioning the decisions 17yr old kids make?

But he did have Cooper to throw to, you can't change that. Just like any QB, you take away their favorite target and their stats will suffer, not just at Alabama.

I just wanted to lighten the mood a little bit.

One of my all-time favorite NFL plays...to make me laugh.

Byron Cowart isn't going to Auburn? Tre Williams wasn't a five star linebacker that went to Auburn?

Just keep posting, OP. I enjoy watching you dig a deeper hole for yourself.
