You call him a moron, but he makes money, keeps your teams out of trouble, graduates your athletes, and makes necessary improvements. What more do you want from him?

Yeah, but at least at AU we have the greatest athletic director in the world. A man without peer in business or sports. He has a wealth of experience. He is a man of the world.

You guys call us idiots, Jacobs has been ok, he's made alot of money for Auburn Athletics. It's not just about winning percentages in sports. It's about guidance throughout the AD department, facilities ,graduation rate...trickle revenue for other departments ...etc. For one of you Aubies to make a bland overlapping statement like that is funny.

Anybody with the slightest background in Athletics could have done the job JJ has done at AU. With the Fan Support and SECN Money, any fool could have matched JJs success. He did get a new Arena, but that was going to happen with or without him. He hired Pearl and Myers, but he also hired Galloway, Barbee and ran off David Marsh.

He does his job, he manages a huge budget and makes money, he fires coaches when necessary, he's hired some very good ones to replace them (Meyers/Pearl) and even Chizik brought the 1st NC in over 50 yrs.
The NCAA hasn't been a problem since the Newton fiasco of which y'all came out cleaner than any program could imagine after a 2 yr colonoscopy.
Your student-athletes graduation rates are tops in the conference.
He has made facility upgrades, the Arena, new fitness/nutrition facilities, Aubietron, new game room just opened in the dorms.

Don't tri to sell is a lie to try to get us to keep that moron. Anyone can realise ticket prices every year to make money. Fact are we ran in the red a few years ago because of Jacob's mismanagement. He gane away close to $100 million on our latest UnderArmor deal. Football facilities are the worst in the SEC, which puts us behind in the arms race.
His only accomplishment in his tenure is building a new basketball arena.

The women's golf coach that Byrne hired at MSU took them to No. 1 as well. Byrne is awesome. Him being at Alabama is just a little scary.

No I'm despondent about the blowout losses to Bama, not scoring an offensive TD against FSU 2 years in a row, an offense ranked BEHIND WILL frickING MUSCHAMP, or the fact that we got blown out by an Arkansas team that had one of the worst defenses in the nation and we scored 10 points, the lowest scored against them by any team not named Texas St. Factor in Mac's terrible recruiting and staff mismanagement and you can see why I'm pissed. SO yes you can pimp those East Champs shirts and decoder rings all you want like Mizzou but Ive seen what UF can do with elite coaches and players can do and Mac aint it. So kindly step off a cliff. Your mother should've swallowed you when she had the chance.
