Didn't see any mention of Matt Mcconaughey in the article. Will he be on the sidelines this year? Will his presence or absence have an effect on polling for his political aspirations? Will he be wearing a cowboy hat?
Garbage article, doesn't address what the people want to know.

Too bad for the sips. It’s nice to hear a little music while your getting yer shite pushed in. Like elevator music in your dentist office.

That’s the only logical conclusion anyone can draw from this decision. And no, this isn’t a Texas PR problem.

Utx spin at its best. Just because the B12 bends at the knees to the nutless cows in austin does not mean the SEC should reward such behavior. While technically this is a B12 vs SEC game, Utx has already announced plans to join the SEC. In the south, hospitality is a big deal (Just ask State fans when the Rebs gave them a bus when in need). When tragedy strikes a SEC city or state even tiny Vanderbilt loads up the semi's to send aid.

While this could have been the perfect opportunity for the nutless cows to start off on a good note, they have already dropped the ball and did what they wanted to do instead of being part of the SEC family. It is not like Utx has been good in football in quite some time so having The Tide on the field has helped sell those season tickets to Utx fans and donors. Who gives a crap what the B12 does if you are leaving them. Do we engage in sexual congress with the shrewish ex wife when the new wife is hotter than Georgia asphalt?

Instead of being cool, Utx just looks like the saleslady in "Pretty Woman" and we know how that turned out.

Normally Saban takes his foot off the gas, but after snubbing "The Million Dollar Band, I hope he puts the pedal the metal, ROLL TIDE!

Bama on the Left, nutless cows on the right :)

What Texas does is absolute CLASSLESS, regardless of whether UA decides to keep its band home or bring them. This practice by the Cows is NOT the usual practice by programs across the country.

I don't know of any other school that does what Texas does.

Of course, Texas is doing it because they're afraid of losing on their home field and because they are getting BEAT on their home field on a regular basis. Thank you, KANSAS!!

Were you dropped on your head as a child?

SEC is about the big picture, and if you do not understand this, you will become a SEC bottom feeder. If Alabama started a tiddlywinks team, Tennessee would announce they were starting one moments later. SEC competes on EVERYTHING and do so with force and passion. If Alabama brings their band to your house they will expect you to bring your band to their's.

Given a choice to send their band and, granted, have them sit in the upper deck, Alabama officials chose to keep them at home and sell its allotment. Alabama is just like every other school; it’s biggest boosters and season-ticket holders get first dibs.

So if this is true, then why doesn't Alabama do it for big games (Auburn, Tennessee, etc.) and not let the band get there? I know why, because everybody in the SEC is civil.

Texas is going to get wrecked in the SEC

No we don't. The full band only goes to a couple of games at most. A pep band usually goes to the rest.

100%. They should stick our band up in the clouds, if they care that much about this.

Of course, Texas fans wouldn't even notice if this happened to our band.

Won't somebody think of the poor band nerds?! Is this why A&M has always been so enamored by the SEC? Is it the bands???
