And I bet you $20, Miles and Cam figure out a way to lose to them at home.

Was said after-09, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 and was used this year as well. We had some people on here saying we'd lose 5 games.

I'll go ahead and get this started.
BAMA IS LOSING THEIR QB so it will be a rebuilding year. Oh wait, the RB, no no the O-line... Oh, losing Kirby will kill them...no no, Can't replace Henry...

Same ole song and dance will be repeated again next year when we are in the playoff and our demise for 2017 will be being bantered around.
Alabama is the favorite next year. period. Everyone knows it. Screw the QB, DB's, early departures, graduation. We keep losing players and keep winning championships. Bama is PROGRAM. Everybody else is a team.

Wait, he mentions Cardale Jones and OSU. I thought Cardale was leaving?

He is leaving. And even if he weren't, he wouldn't have been the starter anyway. Article goes on to mention that OSU's top-ranked recruiting class will make up for the losses, as if the freshmen will play big roles from day 1. Weird article all around.

FYI

Sr guard Morris started the last five games at LG and started eight games on the season. He also had 11 starts last year.

Let me get this straight.

ole miss returned 120 career starts on the Oline for the '15 season. You claim tunsil had 1/3 of them? So tunsil had 40 starts his first two seasons.

WOW!!!! That must be some of that new math. He has 40 career starts in 26 games.

How can a team that returned the third most starts in the country on the Oline (120) be considered inexperienced? What do you think of an Oline that returns all of 30 career starts? That's the rebs for '16.

Because the guys that had those starts, outside of Tunsil, were not as good as the freshman and sophomores that played the majority of the snaps THIS year. Some of those guys played Freezes first two years because we had no choice. And we annually have one of the top offenses in the league. Sims, Patterson, conyers and Taylor were four of our six best offensive linemen. Period. We will be staring multiple guys that everyone in the sec recruited for the first time in years. You worry too much about what we are losing when you lose just as much or more from a lesser defensive unit and are in a different universe when it comes to quarterback play. Again, I wouldn't trade our issues for yours. But you keep hoping we lose more than we can replace. We are losing a senior class that ranked 47th. Yours was top ten. We lose three underclassmen, you will lose at least that many. There will be more four and five star players on our team next year than this. And we return the BEST QB situation in the league by a long shot. We will be ok.

har har har. Butch Jones is 1&8 vs UF, UGA, & UA, and the 1 victory was vs a Chubbless UGA with a coach on his way out. I will say, though, that if Tennessee doesn't win the East next yr, vs 3 programs with new coaches and another in only his 2nd year, then Sgt Carter will never.....ever...win.

Losing a guy like Morris with 19 starts these last two years is addition by subtraction? If his relief was so good then why was Morris out there to begin with? Why not just play the backup from the get go?

You forgot Still's 20 starts at center over the last two seasons.

Where did you get the stat line for your projected starters for '16? A couple of those numbers are WAY OFF.

Anytime you try to slide a true freshman into the starting lineup that is asking for trouble. Especially along the oline. I don't care how good he is. Especially someone that not only hasn't signed yet but, isn't even committed.

Taylor didn't start VS bama.

Did you ever watch Still? Conyers beat him for the job then got injured. Watch Morris? Patterson and Taylor both were ahead of him on the spring depth chart but were injured. Played a ton with the injury. Freshman sims beat out senior bell for the right guard spot. All three of those starters lost their jobs this year and played as much as they did because of injury. You're a hell of a lot more worried about those losses Than any Ole Miss fan is likely to be. The interior line will be light years better than any Freeze has had here.

Again if sims, patterson, conyers and taylor are so good why weren't they in there from the beginning? Most coaches start the players that give them the best chance at victory. Sort of like the BEST players at each position.

Think I read somewhere that LSU has eight senior scholarship players on the roster. Hardly think that's a top 10 class. Tigers have all of THREE SR starters.

LSU has two SR starters on "D". Another two that might leave early. Heard that both might be back though. Beckwith (MLB) would be the greater loss. Can you name any other tiger defenders leaving for one reason or another?

Only SR starter on "O" is all american RT, Alexander. Could lose two or three early on this side the ball. Hopefully it will be one at most.

When will all those new four and five * guys commit?
Not many on that commitment list yet.

QB is the ONLY position that rebs have a clear advantage over LSU. Granted it is the most important position on the field. The only other player I would take is that LB.

They WERE there from the beginning. Conyers started the first six games before injury. Soph Taylor was to be the starting lg before tearing his labrum. Freshman sims won the job at rg by the end of the year. You lose mills, Louis, Neal, jones and likely beckwith. Maybe white. That's a serious hit. You return Harris at QB? That's a serious hit.

conyers started five games. Overall ole miss started ten different players along the Oline. We know five are leaving. That doesn't make for experienced quality depth. Like someone said, if the injury bug strikes again along the Oline then the rebs could be in deep dodo.

Mills and Jones are the only SR starters on "D". Louis had started in the past but this year he only started when LSU started in a 4-3 base defense. That wasn't too often. Played 4-2-5 exclusively most of the season.

Neal is a Jr and don't think he is even considering coming back. White and Beckwith might go early. Miles has come out publicly and said most of the draft eligible Jrs told him they were coming back.

We return four of our six best offensive linemen. That's ok. Id be surprised if beckwith is back but who knows. White won't go high enough to warrant early entry but I'd bet he's at least trying to see where he'll go. Either way you're likely losing five impact defenders. Same as us.

even if both bechwith and white leave early that's still only four IMPACT defenders gone.

jones and mills for sure and possibly beckwith and white. would be suprised if they both left.

actually of all the possible early departures white is the highest rated.
