Maybe, but I'd rather an OL or two go down for us than Mason or Gurley. Or even a safety or CB.

Point is,saying "If so-and-so gets hurt" is pointless. If several starters get hurt, you are obviously going to not play as well as you could... Georgia fans should know this after last year.

I hear what you're saying, but I wasn't suggesting that 3 or 4 your top WRs would miss multiple games, your top 2 RBs would miss multiple games, your QB would miss multiple games, your best receiving TE would miss multiple games, and many of your scholarship DBs would miss multiple games.

I singled out OL because I think LSU's success this year is going to depend a whole hell of a lot on its OL. I don't think any of the other teams are relying on a single position group so heavily for their success. JMO.

Yeah, I see your point...and I understand it's your opinion. My opinion is if 4 out of 5 of your OL and several DB's miss 3 or 4 games, the Dawgs will have at least 6 losses for the season.

Pruit sending a message.

I'm undecided on his coaching, but his ambition is sky high.

How about providing some insight on why this might happen instead of just going on your gut.
Career back up for a Qb, depleted secondary and a crap OL.

TBH, Georgia was a 6 win team last year but got lucky against Tenn and GT. This year will be more of the same, probably worse

Or we were a 10 win team that got unlucky against AU and Vandy. But, hey, keep doing your thing. Your schtick is more impressive than annoying.

LSU's worst season since 2000 was an 8-5 season. I think we'll be ok. To answer the OP's question, none of them

this has been the case basically every single year for awhile. last year was the only time in recent memory LSU had an explosive offense

Georgia was losing by 20 in the fourth quarter against the Barn and Vandy beat you straight up. You needed Tennessee to fumble the ball diving for the endzone to win and GT to crap the bed to get to 8 wins.

Georgia was lucky last year

This was exactly the point I was trying to make. I don't think LSU goes 6-6 or 5-7, but it wouldn't shock me to see them at 7-5 or 8-4 with some serious injuries on the OL. For instance, I think you could sustain an injury to one of your QBs - not much would change. You could sustain an injury to a WR or two - not much would change. You could sustain an injury to Buga - not much would change, IMO, at least. I don't think you could sustain a couple of injuries to the OL because I think you'll need your OL to perform at its highest potential throughout the year to have a really special year.

It's all conjecture, I wasn't trying to flame LSU
