Bama fans: With Collins gone, and the need to defend him fading. . .
Fading but it hasn't faded yet. I'm afraid Bama fans will never able to objectively look at Collins like we LSU fans can.

One of your jokes was finally funny.

Collins was far from a liability in coverage (sans the Mississippi game). My opinion on him hasn't changed; I said a while back that I saw him as a late first/early second round talent.

We don't have a QB. I miss Mett

I guess they didn't have the depth (go figure lol) to move him to linebacker like USC did with Su'a Cravens and Washington did with Shaq Thompson. I remember LSU did that with Harry Coleman and it turned out really well. I think we need to do it with Corey Thompson now, but we've already moved Voorhies to LB. All those players were much better in those positions.

We will miss you girls crying and Landon. We are talking about the all-american right?

A college all American doesn't always translate to the pro game. The guy can't cover, that's in all of his scouting reports. Craig loston, laron Landry etc all had the same problem. His game is on par with Roman harper. He's an oversized safety to small to take on blocks at linebacker and too slow to consistently defend wide recievers. Aka Roman harper

LC was just fine where he was.....I, for one, am glad he didn't come to LSU.
Hopefully they'll take care of him in T-Town after his NFL career is done.

Great stuff. More, more I say.

So I guess we'd just have to ask Landon if he would be OK with 2 pro-bowls and a Super Bowl win and be a 10 year NFL vet. Sounds like a solid career. Not spectacular, but I'd guess Landon would take it.

How long has Roman Harper and Landry played in the NFL? For being complete liabilities they sure have seemed to hang around a long time. They've lasted longer than that exemplary cover corner from DBU, Mo Claiborne.

I call BS on this...big time.
You wouldnt have started it if you didnt. Landon was a fine player. It isnt like we've only been wining 8 games or something. We'll be fine with or without him. Maybe LSU can figure out stopping 2 minute drives to Bama.

Collins would have been a much better linebacker, considering that's basically what he was. He was below averagd in pass coverage and you can deny it all you want.

How many years has Ro Harper been in the NFL?
