On a side note, I love other teams fans reactions after Bama loses. They want so badly for us to take a loss poorly that they fabricate "meltdowns" by Bama fans in their own mind. They'll take some fairly modest discussion by Bama fans after a loss (ex. "We should have run the ball four times 1st & goal at the 6") as proof that "ZOMG! You Bammers are melting down!!!"
I find it comical.
P.S. I enjoy the present domination.

I started to get into this last night but was sick of posting from my phone. This phenomenon is fascinating and hilarious. The LSU reaction after A&M (one week after losing to Bama) was honestly the most pathetic fanbase wide reaction I have personally witnessed on this board. I get that they want Bama to lose, but that was just insane. Did Bama crash the site after Clemson? This thread is a disappointment to many- seeing that the losses aren’t as devastating as many would believe. As you can see it is mostly being ignored by the rivals.

Unlike some of the others, I must still have a little of the post-probation syndrome. I get nervous before every game and until the boys start running over the other team and put up a few points, I still feel we have a chance to lose.
So no, I don't miss the upsets and am glad we're at a better place today. I like winning.

Bored??? I like watching Bama dominate like they have. I guess all you other Bama fans really loved getting beat by aTm. frick that. Hope Bama has 30 point leads at halftime in every game. I'm just as pumped watching the future stars showcase their talents in the second half. I do understand the question, and after enduring the previous decade pre Saban I enjoy every minute of what Bama football is doing now. This is a run like no other and it won't last forever. Soak it all in Bama fans. RTR!
I love watching the young guys play in the 2nd half. It's like our coaches totally ignore the scoreboard and are coaching a brand new game when they put the future stars in to play.
I will never get tired of watching a fundamentally sound, disciplined, and dedicated team play Bama football.
I fully understand that you can't win them all ~ but damn Saban has had this thing Rockin for a while.

The 9-6 meltdown was no fabrication my friend.

Last year actually got boring at times. That's just my opinion though.
Alabama is a boring program. Yes they win and the fans get excited about the current dominant run in CFB, but goddamn if that isn't a boring football program to follow. Especially from the outside. I can't get excited to watch a non Bama vs. LSU game. They have no style.

This is true. I only watched any of a few bama games thiis past year. The only bama games I watched almost all of were the A&M and UGA games.
Part of it is certainly because of the lopsided nature of a lot of the games, to the point I didn't even pay attention to what time bama was even playing outside of a few of the big ones last year.

Well, yeah, winning it all is a pretty good way to end it.
But the suggestion that Bama fans are above meltdowns after a loss is what's comical, with 9-6 being "Exhibit A".

I'm sure there were meltdowns after that game. The Tide missed 4 FGs and there were several questionable coaching decisions. Fans of Bama weren't used to that.
The loss was compounded by the fact that LSU never led for a single second of the game until the kick in OT. Not at the end of a qtr. Not at half-time. Not even going into a commercial break. That's what made that loss "meltdown" for some fans.
I'll say this though, Bama loss meltdowns are not what rival fans make them out to be.

Winning ain't boring. And we don't care what the "outsiders" think is boring or not.

Serious question- aside from whoever is your program, what is your favorite type of program to watch?
I'm assuming you like the Oregons, Tex Techs, and West Virginias of the world. Well I think that is clown ball. Some years these teams may have decent defenses (Oregon's was alright this year it seemed) but watching, in general, offenses march back and forth against totally inept defenses who can't tackle irritates me to no end. To each his own of course, but when someone says they find domination on both lines with an overpowering running game setting up a perfectly called play action pass to be 'boring' with no style, I think that person isn't a true fan of football in its basic form, and that person would be happier watching basketball. Again, I'm not trying to be antagonistic. Everyone has opinions, that's just mine!

I agree completely. I'll take "old man football" over that crap all day.

Alabama plays football the way it's supposed to be played in my opinion. You can call it a lack of style but I enjoy watching fundamental football. Win the line of scrimmage. Run the ball. Stop the run. Win the turnover battle. Have a high 3rd down conversion rate. Mix in playaction passes. Throw deep just enough to keep defenses honest. It's a well-oiled machine and I personally find that easier to appreciate than watching a team try to snap the ball 100 times a game so that the other team can't make adjustments or substitute.

Don't think Bama has been the under since saban became coach. So anytime they loose it's an upset. So, no they don't miss upsets.

I mean when your own team gets their arse handed to them before most other SEC teams have even kicked off their games, it'd be hard as hell to watch your other rival teams later in the day. Just making an observation..........

We played in a big game atmosphere 5 times this year.
Michigan (I think they were ranked 10th at the time)
LSU
TAMU
UGA
&
ND.
How many good teams will play more than 5 big games in a season? Just because we are favored in all of them doesn't mean they're not fun. I was there for all of them and they were awesome. Its great to be at this level. Its like the Nexus on one of the Star Trek movies. You never want to leave.

6. We played 6. The undefeated showdown between Bama and The Griders. The most anticipated game of the year, the hardest fought--and for me personally--my favorite win on the schedule.

Was this supposed to be written in sarcastic font?
We were favored by 22.
The game was out of reach for the grinders before the band took the field for half time.
Dont get me wrong though, I prefer it that way.

Couldn't have been too boring you lost at home to LSU and was tied at the half with Tenn.
