Not really. I love playing Bama. Game could either way every time.

And to be honest with you, taking this a step further, losses bother me less now than they did under Shula. People talk about bandwagoners, If anything i've kind of stepped off a bit. After a lifetime of mostly mediocre football, I've finally seen this surreal dynasty. I've seen it, I'm good, everything else is just gravy. Saban would hate my attitude.

This. I don't get near as mad because I look at all the winning we do now, and realize that other fans may never get to experience a third of the success we've had even over the last 5 seasons.

Agreed, Saban would process me in a hurry. I was amazed at how not upset I was after A&M this year.

Bama could win every game by 60 points and I would love every second of every game.

Hell no.

I'm also a terrible person and enjoy things like punching the elderly.

dude, me too.

it's hard to get pissed when you recall the last 4-5 years. what have we lost, a total of 5 or 7 games? and more importantly, we deserved to lose.

if we had gotten hosed on a call that's SO bad the officials had to agree and concede teh day after the game... then ok, i'll blow up. but if we earned the loss, i'm at ease about it. same with LSU in 2011 in mid season.

I guess it's like a business deal. Landing one you had no shot at is awesome but knowing it's a done deal beforehand is what it's all about.

As previously stated it was fun to tailgate in Knoxville and know that the game would be well in hand. This year all the way through I kept wanting to feel "nervous" and caught myself being "bored"...as usual LSU provided the reality check and I am ready to get back to blowing out teams again.

Definitely is an aspect that I miss, but wouldn't trade it for our recent success. Especially with A&M improving, LSU always being a great team, Ole Miss on it's way up, I think the West and the SEC as a whole will be very competitive (not that any years were a cake walk).

The come back against LSU and the game against Georgia were sweet enough, whether we were favorites or underdogs. Once the ball is kicked off, it doesn't matter who is the favorite and who is the underdog.

The thing about being the favorites and winning so much that annoyed me when I was a student (graduated in December) was the students (girls or guys) that weren't fans until they came to school. They were spoiled. They didn't realize what Bama was the first half of the 2000's. They act entitled and have no reason. They would FLIP out if we went 3 & out or gave up a touchdown. Start badmouthing the coaching staff. It's ridiculous.

That's just my mini-rant.

I love winning every game, but it does get very boring at times as well. If we are going to dominate like this we need to beef up the non conference schedule big time.

I'm sort of the same way. Growing up, I was always told what Alabama football was "supposed" to be like but then I went to college in 2000 and it was terrible. Now I've seen the mountain top. While I miss days of "upsets" like the 93 Sugar Bowl, I've gotta be honest...it feel pretty good to flex your muscle in front of the entire country like we did against ND.

But yes, there were some boring times throughout the season last year.

Nah, there's always enough delusional fans of the other team that think "Bama is overrated and about to get blown out" by their team to keep it interesting.

I didn't think we'd beat LSU this year and I was up in the air in the NC game next year. The same could be said for UGA this year too.

There's about 2 games a year that I'm uncertain about and we'll always have at least one game that'll be close and no one thought it would (UT in 09, A&M this year, etc)

But yes, we're spoiled as a fanbase.

Ummmm how do I say this???

Hell. No.

I want us to beat everyone by 100, and I still want our defense playing like theyre on bath salts in the 4th quarter.

Plus, I realize that most teams in the SEC can beat us any given Saturday.
